The River
I was speaking in a meeting one day when afterwards in an open session, a friend said something like this,
“I saw a river running through this room. But was not a uniform depth! It was different depths, depending on how deep each person wanted to go.
The thirstier the person for more of The Holy Spirit, the deeper the river.”
He had seen the same in his Church on a number of occasions.
Isn’t there a wonderful insight in this?
This shouts at me about commitment and genuine longing for those things of The LORD that birth Revival — that open old Wells, and dig new Wells of Revival — where none previously existed!
I hear The LORD calling us all, each and every one separately, to a deeper place with Him.
I hear Him gently encouraging us to come behind the veil and walk deeper in the river of His Love.
I sense The LORD pulling back the veil to make it easier to access a His Presence. I hear Him speak the words of Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I AM God”
Do you hear a Him today?
Is He calling you deeper today?
Are you hungry for more of Him, more of His presence, more of His anointing?
Do you truly want Revival?
Then trust Him — let Him lead you gently into the river of life giving water, the river of His love.
Ask Him — He will answer you.
His promise is this,
“‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3
Then, Matthew 7:7-8 tells us to
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
If we really want Revival, we need to get deeper in The River; draw closer to God; Pay the Price, and keep on asking.
He will not disappoint us! He won’t ignore us!
This is the answer to 2 Chronicles 7:14,
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
It’s God telling us “IF” . . . . “THEN”, that’s His promise to all of us. If ….. then — if we, then He!
Finally,
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them!
