The past few months it seems as if our country is being shaken to the core, and I believe that our younger generation is feeling it the most.

The youth of today are trying to discover their identity, but it’s difficult for them because they are surrounded with so much chaos and lawlessness.

They are faced with so many decisions about their future in a world that seems to be so unpredictable.

The other day I went into a store by my old Junior High school. There were six young people in the store causing a ruckus and using such vulgar language. Their ages ranged from about 12-14 years old.

These things shouldn’t move me because most teenagers are radical and use profanity, but I was taken back for a minute.

I thought to myself, why are they so hostile and defiant at such a young age? Then I sensed something else. I felt the hopelessness and despair inside their hearts.

I knew that there was pain hidden beyond those foul words, and I knew there was trauma behind their lifeless eyes.

There is fear of the unknown in our young people today. The Holy Spirit reminded me of when Samuel went to anoint one of Jesse’s sons to be King.

When Samuel looked at Eliab who was tall and handsome and appeared to have it all together, he thought that he surely was The LORD’s anointed.

But The LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For The LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but The LORD looks at the heart.”

A young shepherd boy named David was the one who was chosen out of all his brothers. The LORD wants to use these radical young people to bring an awakening to our Nation, and transformation to their generation.

Young people don’t want to go to Church, because they don’t want to be reprimanded. What they need is someone to call out the treasure inside of them rather than the dirt.

They need a true encounter with the living God, that will turn them from their sinful ways, and transform their lives.

They need to experience a move of The Holy Spirit to bring Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance. They need to experience signs, wonders and miracles. These young people are called to be part of Joel’s end time army.

It was prophesied in the book of Joel 2:28-29, and the book of Acts 2:17-19 that in the last days, The LORD will pour out of His Spirit on all flesh; and our sons and our daughters will prophesy. We have to tell them that The LORD wants to use them.

This is Jesus end time plan whether they are Baby boomers, Generation X, Generation Y, Millennials, or Generation Z which these young adults were in the store.

We are living in a time when the voice of The LORD is rare and there is not much widespread revelation as it was in 1 Samuel 3:1.

Samuel was first called as a young boy as he was alongside the High priest Eli. It was during the night that The LORD called him three times, but Samuel didn’t recognize God’s voice until Eli perceived that it was The LORD calling him.

Samuel then went back, and The LORD called out to him a fourth time. Samuel replied; “Speak, for Your servant hears.” He then heard God’s voice for the first time. Samuel grew up as a great prophet and every word he had came to pass.

The LORD is looking for the Samuels in this day, the younger generation who are called to be Prophets to The Nations.

When His anointing is upon them, they will speak and not one word will fall to the ground. Don’t despise their youth for Jesus desires to use them in a mighty way.

He wants to deliver the young people from drugs so that they could go back and set their friends free. They won’t be manipulated by trickery of the enemy or beguiled by his cunning ways, but they will be warriors in The Kingdom of God.

They will no longer be enticed by the things of this world but they will serve The LORD all the days of their lives. They are called to heal the sick, cleanse the leapers, raise the dead, and cast out demons.

The time of playing church is over. We need a youth revival. We need the Elijah’s that call down fire from heaven.

We need the Pauls who had a transformed on the road to Damascus. It time for the young people to rise up and take back our land.

“Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation.” 1 Samuel 3:1.

“But The LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For The LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but The LORD looks at the heart.”” 1 Samuel 16:7.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5.

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, ‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, ‘Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’ ” Matthew 18:1-3.
