The Return to the Garden
The people of God have long ago forgotten who they are and where they came from. However, God’s provision is not lacking. Christ Jesus, by the cross and through His resurrection life in His people by the Holy Spirit, is all that is needed to return to the life on earth that God provided in the Garden of Eden.
There has been a recent shift begun to the out-working of that which was expressed in the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles.
Among the Jewish feasts, there are three major ones that are of great significance of God’s working with mankind through the ages, the feasts of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles.
Both Passover and Pentecost have been fulfilled and Tabernacles is now being fulfilled. Christ Jesus fulfilled Passover at the Cross and Pentecost at His return in the Holy Spirit.
The significance and power of these great works of God were lost to most of mankind during the centuries of man-made religion and spiritual darkness. The significance and power of Passover and Pentecost began to be returned or restored to the people of God around the sixteenth century.
First, around 500 years ago, the out-working of that which was proclaimed in the Feast of Passover in the expression of salvation by grace through faith, became manifest.
Then just over one hundred years ago, that which was pictured in the Feast of Pentecost was returned to God’s people as the fullness of the Holy Spirit baptized believers with love and power, bringing forth the return of Spirit gifts of healings and miracles with many glorious manifestations of the Spirit of God with His people.
Now in this season, the manifestation of that which was proclaimed in the Feast of Tabernacles is manifesting into our world.
The primary characteristics of Tabernacles is the manifest intimate presence of God with and within His people. The solid coverings of structure were removed as the people gathered branches from certain trees and made a booth or temporary shelter outside of their home structures of busyness and activities of natural life.
Today the structures are being removed that have separated us from the intimate one on one relationship with God. Christ Jesus is the only mediator between God and man.
Much freshly restored revelation is coming into the hearts and lives of the people of God as they are learning to live as one with God in constant communion of hearing and speaking with God. Spiritual dreams, visions and conversations with our loving Father God through Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit is causing us to become one with God as we were created to be in Adam and redeemed back into at the Cross.
Literally, Christ Jesus, Yeshua Messiah, is dwelling within His people. Christ in His people is again bringing forth the glory of God on earth.
We are returning again to the life God originally created in Adam. The life that was lost through the disobedience of one man is now returning to us in the life of one man, Christ Jesus Yeshua Messiah. “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous,” (Romans 5:19).
We are headed back into the Garden of Eden by the obedience of Christ in His people.
The Old Testament Scripture was given for our learning of eternal truth in many types and shadows or clear pictures of that which was to come that has now come.
Our current situation is pictured for us in the return of Israel’s from captivity in Babylon to Jerusalem in the book of Nehemiah. Israel had gone away from their God and turned to other Gods under the leadership of a bad king. After that the king of Babylon came and defeated Israel and took the people and all of the wealth to Babylon.
A few of the common people were left in Jerusalem. The walls were broken down and the huge wooden gates burned. Much later Nehemiah had returned with provision to rebuild the walls and the gates of the city of Jerusalem.
After the walls and gates were rebuilt and more people had returned from Babylon the people also needed to be rebuilt. They had lost their connection with God and had not been living according to God’s ways for them. They had forgotten the law and how to connect with their God. Ezra a Priest who knew the law very well and Nehemiah the governor began the work of re instructing and reconnecting the people to their God and their heritage in Him.
In chapter 8 of Nehemiah, it is recorded that the people were all called together and Ezra read the Law of Moses to them for half of the day. When the people heard the law which was their connection to God they wept and greatly mourned. I believe that was probably because they began to recognize how far they were away from God and perhaps how important they and their lives were to God.
“And Nehemiah, who was the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, “This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn nor weep.” For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law.
Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared,” for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved,” Nehemiah 8:9-11.
Then on the second day of reading the law, they discovered that it was the time of the Feast of Tabernacles, and the people were to build temporary shelters of branches leaned together outside their homes away from the covering structure of the busy activity of natural life. They began to keep the Feast, for what was probably the first time ever for them.
There are many other important parts to the Feast of Tabernacles, including a great gathering of all the people to pray and worship God.
God is restoring us now in this day into true intimacy and deep supernatural life walking in the Spirit with Him. This is the manifestation of what was represented and pictured in the Feast of Tabernacles. God dwelling in and with His people.
He is restoring His people to reach the nations with His love and thereby establish God’s kingdom on earth. The gifts and miracles will again flow freely especially healing so that the un-redeemed natural minded people can experience the love and power of Spirit God in their natural bodies and through supernatural healing know there is a God that loves them.
Someone once said, “Healing is the diner bell for salvation.” For the natural minded people who cannot see spiritual things, healings in their own bodies or in those they know and love lets the people see and know there is a Spirit God that loves them. Their eyes can be opened to the Spirit and they become witnesses to many others. Signs and wonders are a major part of restoring the people back to God and back to the journey toward the Garden of Eden lifestyle in our world.
Thus the Kingdom of God is manifested into the world to the glory of God.
