The Religious ‘Shows’ Are Coming to an End!
The Religious ‘Shows’ Are Coming to an End – Thank God!
“Josh Packard says that 65 million people have left the ‘church’. Many of these are former leaders who love God. Where are they going?” (© Charisma Magazine Archives).
As the Holy Spirit has been saying over the past five years – The institution will die and is busy dying.
Millions are leaving the “church” as they have come to know it, for a variety of reasons.
One predominant reason is that people have finally come to terms with the fact that the model has failed as it had been presented, and now see the flaws and failures, as more and more of is exposed that was previously hidden behind closed doors.
People are returning to the roots of the Gospel, realizing that its not about buildings and logos, but about intimacy with Jesus, and about fellowship with people.
Small groups are rising up everywhere as people are coming together informally, free from religious institutions and religious rhetoric, to worship in Spirit and in Truth.
There is a great hunger for great encounters with Jesus … and they are finally discovering it in the company where two and three’s are coming together!

I agree wholly and completely. People are leaving because they are not please with what is happening behind the doors, but then the church says it’s “dangerous to complain” about the church, that there will “always be complaints.” ( https://blogs.lcms.org/2014/the-dangers-of-complaint is a good example of this brainwashing that is occuring). They’re simply manipulating people to fear telling the church they’re wrong, and making people afraid that doing so is rising up against God. This is not true, even Jesus overturned the tables in the temple when they were selling things in God’s house. The church has become more about money for the clergy/staff than anything, and people are angry, but cannot stand up for themselves. We are sheep, fighting wolves. Let us pray that the congregation begins to defend each other in the name of our Lord and through His love and correction.
