The Redeemer Of My Soul
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Oh Jesus, The Redeemer Of My Soul!
Surely He hath borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows:
Yet we did esteem Him stricken,
Smitten of God, and afflicted
Oh Jesus, my beloved Jesus
The Redeemer of my soul
The Holy One of Israel
The scars You still carry
Attest of Your Love for me
But He was wounded for our transgressions
He was bruised for our iniquities
The chastisement of our peace was upon Him
And by His Stripes we are healed
Oh Jesus, my beloved Jesus
The Redeemer of my soul
The Holy One of Israel
The wounds You endured
You endured for all
We all like sheep, have gone astray,
Each of us has turned our own way
And The LORD has laid on Him
The iniquity of us all
Oh Jesus, my beloved Jesus
The Redeemer of my soul
The Holy One of Israel
He poured out His Life unto death
His Life an offering of sin
He made a way to The Father
Made an escape from the original sin
That we are all borne into
When we enter this world
Oh Jesus, my beloved Jesus
The Redeemer of my soul
The Holy One of Israel
You rent the veil between us and The Father
From You flow Living Waters
Ohhhhh, oh!
Oh Jesus, my beloved Jesus
The Redeemer of my soul
The Holy One of Israel
Ohhhhh, oh!
Greater love has no one than this,
That someone lay down his life
For his friends.
Ohhhhh, oh
Oh Jesus, my beloved Jesus
The Redeemer of my soul
The Holy One of Israel
May The Father forever bless Him!
“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-6
“Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong! because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” Isaiah 53:10-12
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
“Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.” 2 Corinthians 3:12-16
“And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.” Matthew 27:51
“But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14
“Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”” John 7:38

Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Keep singing, keep praising for your being heard, Gabrielle! Hugs and blessings, Joyce
