The Raven and the Dove
Consider………
You flew off from the ark in ancient times and returned with nothing in your claws.
You cried “Nevermore” to Poe, and you were told to protect the tower and the crown in London.
The prophet was fed by you in the wilderness, and the Indians called you the “trickster.”
You are held by many as a sign of superstition and wonder. But you aren’t always evil, nor are you always a symbol of dread.
Your black plume and regal pose suggests that you have a kingly past. You hop and dance, and strut about. Your whimsical nature, and curious eye, speak of your intelligence within.
And you oh purest dove, that brought the olive branch back to the ark, you are that peace from up above.
You were there at his side when Christ was baptized. You show us all that character still.
You stand for peace and not for war. Yours is what is best in all of us and more.
And yet aren’t we both all black and white? For a color and a tone is just that, and nothing more.
Those of us are neither black nor white, but cut from the same cloth. Both are more than just symbols of an ancient yore.
A bird is just a bird and “nothing more.”
Or is it?

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Lovely. Thanks Brother.
