A river can have rapids, as well as calm waters.

At times, the waters flowing calmly is almost the same amount of water flowing in the rapids.

The rushing water is squeezing through a narrower pathway, as well as flowing over rocks.

There are times when you are going through what seem like rapid, intense events in your life, when you feel like you are really being squeezed.

Then you come to calm, free flowing waters.

The Spirit of The LORD is carrying you through the rapids, assuring you along with the flow. so that when you come to the calm, you will realize that it was He Who has been carrying you all along.

His Presence has never left you.

Trust in The LORD with all of your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in everything you do and He will direct your path.
