The Prophet’s Bow and Quiver
4 Words in 1
Mary and her Alabaster Flask
To the disciples she simply looked like a fool.
To add insult to injury, Mary didn’t consult any of the men about what she was going to do. She didn’t ask for permission. She didn’t make a production.
Her drastic gesture was simply a natural overflow of the deep love she had in her heart for Jesus. Knowing He was about to die, she wanted to honor Him.
Expense was no object for her. This was her King.
She broke her expensive jar of oil and poured it on Jesus. And immediately the aroma of the scented oil permeated the entire house.
But she didn’t stop there. With no towel at hand, Mary used her own hair to wipe the oil from Jesus’ feet. And then the same sweet perfume that was on Him was on her too.
The fragrance of Christ permeated her.
Live a life that looks different from the world around you.
Mary had that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pay tribute to The LORD she loved, and she pulled out all the stops.
It did not matter what they said or how they tried to condemn her, all that mattered was the One who was sitting before her. Looking upon her with such a passionate fire within his eyes!
Letting down her hair was against the custom of the day. Mary didn’t care. She was reckless in her passion to honor Jesus.
She poured out her all on her King and left carrying so much more than his own disciples for she carried his very scent. The essence of Heaven!
Go against the flow.
Swim upstream. Be willing to “overdo it.”

At His Word
“And Simon answering said to him, “Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at your word I will let down the net,”” Luke 5:5 emphasis added.
“At your word…”
It is “at Your Word” that seraphs fly and cherubs bow! Your Angels excel, listening to the voice of Your Word. “At Your Word”….. everything came into existence.
When the earth was formless and dark, your voice, oh Lord, was heard, saying, “Let there be light,” and “at Your Word” light penetrated every single corner.
“At Your Word”, day and night took up their places, and “at Your Word” the waters were separated from the waters by the firmament of heaven.
“At Your Word”, the sun and moon and stars appeared, “for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.” The World was framed at Your Word!
At his very words the storms did cease, the blind did see, the lame walked and leaped, the dead rose up from the icy grip of the graves.
Those three Words hold such Power. You may see so many things falling apart, you may feel like you going to lose your mind, you may wonder everything from “How to “When.” But I want to tell you this,
Launch out and nevertheless AT HIS WORD let down your nets!

The Prophet’s Bow and Quiver
God goes in search for the ones, those who will yield and make a perfect vessel to carry His Prophetic Word.
Each one of His powerful Words are created in Heaven, able to penetrate the hardest of hearts, instantly killing the desires of the flesh. When this selfish want is eradicated, the Quiver begins to see that its job is to carry these arrows of God.
Resting on the back of the Prophet, the Quiver rides through life’s jungle, through the dry barrenness and the dark corners staring into the faces of the lost and hurting, those who are frightened and broken.
They are afraid and wounded. They see the demons hovering inside that are holding them in bondage fearing the Quiver of The LORD and what it carries.
Demons shutter and cringe as they see the angelic feathers fitted tightly around the end of the arrow to guide these darts of salvation and deliverance.
The Word of God is always destined to strike a precise and perfect mark!
Stretching the bow to the desired strength, the Prophet lets loose of the arrow sending it straight from the throne room of God.
As the arrow strikes the desired target, the demons begin to wither and fall away, setting God’s chosen ones free from from the anxiety and fear. Knowing the demon has been cast out, the arrow shouts with great glory, but the Quiver remains quiet.
If it were not for the Quiver the Prophet might send the arrow too soon, forcing God’s precious word to fall to the ground thus missing the Fathers desired mark.
The most important duty of the Quiver is to know from God when it is safe for the Prophet to speak, to make sure not one arrow is loosed from the Quiver or placed on the bow until he is told.

Displayed Through Broken Pieces
He will display His power through those broken pieces.
He shall crown you with His Faithfulness. He will show you He is that Promise Keeper. He will bring you resurrection where there is death.
He will bring forth way beyond what you have even asked for or thought of. It will be his delight to crown a people who have sung to him in the darkness.
Who have lain down in confusion and sorrow, but have gotten back up. You are the Overcomers!
What once was a dead, dry desert filled with broken souls shall thrive in the Presence of the Lord. From broken to beautiful!
It is in those dehydrated crevices of your desert place that you will stumble upon the diamonds!
“36 Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”
40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”
So he said, “Teacher, say it.”
41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”
43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.”
And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”
48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
49 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace,” “ Luke 7:36-50.
