The Prayer Language Called “Tears”
There are times when you have no words, but tears unto God; it’s okay to let the tears speak.
“Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me,” Psalm 56:8-9.
“Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore,” 2 Kings 20:2-3.
“O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place. Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high. My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God,” Job 16:18-20.
“And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment,” Luke 7:38.

Great post! Sometimes we can only speak through our tears. Even then, God hears what we are saying to him.
Awesome thought for me to meditate on today. Thanks and God bless!
What a blessed word, dear Abel. I know it was for me. He has all my tears in a bottle! All of God’s best to you, Sandi
This spoke to me, thank you, GOD bless you.
Amen!♡♡♡
Beautiful post, Abel…Put thou my tears into thy bottle…a precious reminder of the significance of such expression. When words won’t come, tears speak for us. Such a comfort to know that all the tears We’ve cried are sacred to Him. ♥️
