The Power of His Purpose
You have a goal in your heart that you have been trying to obtain, but it seems every time you get close to what you have been working for, it gets pushed out of reach, or someone else gets the prize.
There was a man who was trying to get a problem solved in his life. He couldn’t quite reach the goal to obtain what he focused on for such a long time.
Many years went by as he pushed himself, exerted himself with every ounce of strength he had to obtain the prize he had set his heart upon. But it seemed like it was no use, and felt like giving up.
Finally one day a grand opportunity arrived when a stranger he didn’t know started to question why he had been waiting so long to obtain his goal.
“Why are you here?” said the stranger. He said, “Sir, I have trying for so long to make it, but someone always seems to get it before me. No one will help me.”
Finally, presence of that stranger electrified the atmosphere around the Pool of Bethesda when He said: “Get up! Pick up your mat, and walk.”
Jesus is no stranger to those who have tried so hard to be in the right place at the right time.
It’s almost as if you have been trying to control events, or people, in order to reach some fantastic destination you have dreamed of, but somehow , someone or some thing gets in the way, or you are diverted by someone who is using the same method you have been using to obtain a goal.
Manipulation will never fulfill the purpose God has for your life. If it does work, it will be very short lived and leave you totally frustrated (and rightfully so).
But the purposes of God are “yes” and “amen. And the gifts and calling of God are without repentance as well.
In Isaiah 55 it states: “I send forth My Word; it will not return to Me void, or cancelled out; it will accomplish the purpose for which I sent it.”
The Word “purpose” has far more meaning than we have truly understood. And, the Word “accomplish” has far more meaning as well.
I believe the LORD’s “purpose” involves astoundingly tremendous, intentional power to influentially cause events, far beyond anything we can do ourselves.
His meaning of “accomplish” involves the actual enforcement, with His Own Hands, to cause all these events to not only come to pass, but also cause His children, believers and followers of His Son Jesus Christ, to actually recognize that these events are actually done by His own hand..
All of this is done “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD.”
There is tremendous power in the purpose He has for your life. His purpose is that no man, or woman, or boy, or girl should perish, but that all would come to repentance that leads to eternal life.
His purpose also includes you in the plan of God to manifest HIS OWN PURPOSE and Power in the lives of all who obey His calling.
He has said in The Word That is Sent. “I have called you by name; you are Mine.”
His purpose also includes manifesting through your obedience to His Voice, the power of the Holy Spirit, to heal, and to raise up those who have been down in life, into the Life of His dear Son.
For those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.
Now, there is a request that the LORD is extending to you. The Voice of the LORD is saying:
“I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto God which will be your worship.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”
Your obedience to the Voice of the LORD, with the signs and wonders following, will be the proof that God is working in your life.
There will be no need for manipulation. Trusting God’s Word and the Voice of the Holy Spirit, will confirm the Power of His Purpose in your life.
He is faithful Who promised, and He will do it.
