“Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.” So The LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against The LORD and against you; pray to The LORD that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. Then The LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.” Numbers 21:4-9.

God Was Showing Me the Serpent on the Pole for Days

God keeps showing me the serpent on a pole for days.

I began to ask him what He was trying to say to me and he took me to the passage of scripture above. God began showing me that people were looking everywhere for a cure to the plague that has hit America and the countries of the world.

The plague in these passages came because of not trusting God as the servants of God tried to bring them out of bondage and into the Promise Land.

They complained about the food and they complained about the water. They complained about the leadership and asked them “why had they brought them into the wilderness?”

And spoke that they had brought them there to let them die! They essentially stopped looking to God and opened themselves up to an attack of fiery serpents that bit them and many died Fiery in the Hebrew means; (fiery from burning effect of poison).

This was a fiery curse that they had brought on themselves from their lack of trust and then blaming leadership for it!

We Begin to Play the Blame Game!

To me this is a type of what I see happening all over the world today and especially in America. God has sent leaders into our country, to bring us out of the demise of the deep state and is trying to lead us out, but there is always a fight to be had when change comes.

Many in our country have rejected this because of what they think is hardship on them. So they began to complain and murmur against those that are called of God to bring us out.

Even though we have cried out to God to deliver us from the scourge of Abortion and child trafficking. The scourge of energy dependence and many other things that the church has at least said that they are for.

And yet when it begins to happen we begin to not trust God when things get hard and we complain about those he set in place to cause this change!

Lest some of you think this is just an Old Testament what is written from the New Testament.

“Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall,” 1 Corinthians 10:9-12.

Here is Our Hope and the Remedy

“Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against The LORD, and against thee; pray unto The LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people,” Numbers 21:7.

The people had finally had enough of what they had brought on themselves and came to the understanding that their God given leader was right and that God knew better than they did and they came to Moses and repented!

Repentance from those that God calls his own is key and admitting they were wrong! Saying they are in need of Moses to pray for them was another key!

They humbled themselves under the mighty hand of God! Many people and more so the church and the media and Politicians now need to say, “I was wrong!”

We will do this God’s way! They are trying to contain the Fiery Serpent that has been loosed in our country and none of it is working! But there is a remedy!!

Looking to the Serpent on the Pole!

“Then The LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived,” Numbers 21:8-9.

So what did God tell Moses? He told him to make a fiery serpent out of brass. In the Hebrew one of the words for brass is (Filthiness.) Many years ago as I was seeking The LORD in a season of prayer God took me into a vision of what it looked like as he “became sin who knew no sin.”

I saw Jesus hanging between heaven and earth on the cross and in the vision He gave me the sense of how pure he was hanging there on that cross. He was the most pure thing I had ever seen.

The Word says that He is the word made flesh and that the word is pure! He was sinless as the Bible says and all at once, I looked and he began to turn into every filthy thing on earth that you can imagine. (HE BECAME SIN! )

The LORD, in the vision, began to give me a sense of what that must have been like to be that pure and have never known sin and suddenly become it!

I began to weep uncontrollably at the sight of it! I wept for days as I had a small insight of what he went through!

The Cross Became the Cure!

You see, the fiery brass serpent (the filthy curse) on the pole that represented THE CROSS OF CHRIST BECAME THE CURE!

But here is our part right now! We must turn our eyes off of what the world is telling us and the media, and even the so called scientist many times and LOOK TO THE ONE WHO TOOK THE CURSE ON THAT TREE!

It is time to put your trust in Jesus and His sacrifice!! He is trying to get us to look to Him in these days! He is trying to get us to see that He is the cure!

The word in Greek for Salvation is sōtēria and it means; rescue or safety (physically or morally): — deliver, health, salvation, save, saving. In the Old Testament Salvation in the Hebrew is normally the word Yeshua and it means.. something saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory, prosperity:—deliverance, health, help(-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.

You see you are that something saved!!

And in Psalm 103:1-5 (NKJV) it tells us what we should do:

“Bless The LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless The LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

God is Saying

It is time to look to the Cross and the One who became the curse for you!

It is time to repent of looking to the media, the politicians and the bullies to tell us what to do and what to take and listen to those who God has anointed for such a time as this!

It is time to look to Yeshua our cure and tell your memory like David did, “Forget Not All His Benefits!”

Then Bless Him for what he has already done!
