The Place Of Assurance

There comes a time when you have to move.

There comes a time when you have to rest. But the time to call upon the LORD is always “Now.”

“I have seen the urgent things and I have seen the things that must be waited for.

I AM the LORD Who Sees and the God Who Knows,” says the LORD.

“There will be times like today where you wonder “when will my heart really connect with the Presence of the LORD.”

I have known you heart from the first time you called out to Me. I will not leave you comfortless.

I will come to you, and I will bring you to the place of assurance that you have been hoping for, for I AM your shield and your exceedingly great reward,” says the LORD.

Where Your Trust Will Be Safe

This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is and walk in it and you will find rest for your souls.”

Now don’t reject the ancient path, for the LORD is leading you down the ancient path of righteousness for His name’s sake: this is where you will realize and experience the important trust in the LORD that He has been developing in you.

This is where Moses was led up the ancient path up Mount Horeb, to find the burning bush, hearing the LORD’s voice and received the Ten Commandments.

This is the ancient path where the Prophet Elijah was led also to Mount Horeb, after the Angel of the LORD fed him when he ran from Jezebel.

This is where Elijah heard the LORD’s Voice, a gentle still whisper, after the LORD passed by.

The LORD is not in the storm, he is not in the raging fire, He is not in the earthquake. He dwells within you.

He is saying, “Return to Me and I will return to you; come unto Me you who are weary and heavily burdened and I will give you rest, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Don’t let your heart be troubled for I know the thoughts I have toward you. They are thoughts of peace not of evil.”

There is a bright future for you, therefore do not cast away your confidence in the LORD, for there is great reward in keeping your trust in Him. The Presence of the LORD is where your trust will be safe.
