The Overcoming Church
The overcoming church that is clothed in his robe of righteousness. (Clothed in the sun.) (Revelation 12).
“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a women clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. (Church clothed in the righteousness of Christ Jesus.)” Revelations 12:1.
“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” Revelations 3:5.
“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God,: and I will write upon him my new name.” Revelation 3:12.
“In his days Judah shall be saved, and Isreal shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Jeremiah 23:6.
“In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.” Jeremiah 33:16.
We have put on Christ we have been robed with his righteousness that is revealed by faith in his word. The just shall live by faith.
“And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law (old Jerusalem / moon / old law / shadow of that which was to come, moon under our feet), but, that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. (The Lord our righteousness / clothed in the sun / new Jerusalem.) Philippians 3:9.
“Tell me that ye desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? For it is written Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid and the other by a free women. But he who was of the bondwomen was born after the flesh: but he of the freewomen was by promise.
Which things are a allegory: for there are two covenants: one for the Mt Si’nai, which gendereth to bondage which is Agar. For this Agar is Mout Si’nai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. (Old Jerusalem.) But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.(new Je-ru’salem/city on the hill.)” Galatians 4:21-26.
“Therefore by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law, is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all who believe: for there is no difference.” Romans 3:20-22.
“Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and the Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Outward works of righteousness that comes by the workings of the law.) Matthew 5:20.
“Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom like a little child will never enter it,” (Faith that works by love revealed through and by Christ Jesus the living word of God.) Mark 10:15.
“But be ye doers of the word, not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22.
