“Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving]; for the [resentful] anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” James 1:19-20.

At a time when everyone wants to be heard (and seen), let us reflect on this scripture spoken.

Even when it comes to the Storms that have manifested, I’ve seen many running to talk and post about Judgement, not having fear, and the multiple theories on the source of the Storms.

But I ask, have you listened to the sounds of the cries in the atmosphere?

Have you interceded for the lost; the families of those who’ve lost loved ones, their livelihood, and everything in between?

There is much death and destruction in this season (as it is written), however, in this moment people need to hear about salvation, forgiveness, repentance of sin, and the love of Christ.

And may I add, help when and where you can.

Jesus took care of the both the physical and the spiritual needs of the people.

It is important not to become like Job’s wife and friends.

We are still in the time of Teshuvah [repentance].

Let us turn from our waywardness, and pride.

Let us pray for those who have been impacted by these destructions.

The outpouring is coming…
