The Night Approaches…
“The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?” Isaiah 21:11.
“And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not” Isaiah 6:9.
“The night is approaching,” says The LORD.
“I tell you that the Winter is almost past, but the night is approaching. The time will come when you will look for the dawn but it will be far from you.
For the darkness approaches. The time comes when men will have wished that they had prepared for this day. But that day waits for no man.
It comes unannounced. All of nature knows these things. Even the wild beasts and birds know that something approaches.
Oh man, are you so dull of hearing? Can you not sense in your spirit that these things are coming? You are surely what Isaiah described of you: For he said, ‘You have eyes but you do not see. Be ever hearing, but not hearing.
But who is the servant of mine that stays watch upon the land? Oh watchmen, what of the night? Can you see that the oil in some of their lamps is drying up?
For many grow weary of waiting. They wait and ponder for that day, and yet it has not come, they say.
But there is a stirring in the east. There are plans held in secret; and they will divide the spoils with each other. The time will come when diplomacy will not work.
For the process of peace will not hold back the avenger. Those who are hidden will suddenly come upon the scene.
The signs will be all around you for all to see. But very few there are who are as the sons of Issachar.”
Selah,

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to The LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
