The Need for the Fulfillment of Time in Our Lives and in a Prophecy
“Then The LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2-3.
This is a theme that I have written about before, but it needs to be revisited again.
There are many considerations of how the things of God must unfold in our lives, and in the world around us.
Indeed, this concept becomes even more important in consideration of prophecy and the fulfillment of all that God has said in our lives and in His Word.
I’m sure that many of you have heard the phrase, “Time will tell….” This little antidote is often used to say that we simply don’t know what will happen in the future, but that as time goes on, eventually we will find out.
Many of the Words that have been given to me concerning future events that will unfold in our land and in the world around us, take time to fulfill.
God’s ways are not our ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts. Having said that, His timetable is different from ours, in particular, when He has spoken about a future event, it must take place in His way.
Many times I have received a Message about a future invasion into our land, and perhaps some have wanted to know when this might occur.
It would be utterly foolish for me to pin-point that event and declare it to happen on this time or that one.
I am not one to set dates. But know this: It will come and it will happen.
If a continued event is said repeatedly in a true Prophetic Word, then God is trying to get our attention. He wants us to be prepared and to know about it.
The same can be said about those things said concerning our personal lives. The thing to do is wait and to know that these things will unfold as they are meant to be done.
As we know there is a time and a purpose for everything that happens under the sun. There are things that happen in our lives now that couldn’t have happened ten years ago due to a multitude of different things.
We are older now and many of the things that are now happening in our lives couldn’t have been received years ago, because we weren’t equipped to handle them.
Our circumstances have changed as well; our children are older, and perhaps they have families of their own.
Perhaps many years ago we were promised to have a ministry that would touch people in a certain setting, and yet it couldn’t happen until other things would line up in our lives.
At the time that we were told about these future events, one may well have uttered the words, “Well…only time will tell,” and yet beyond this phrase we should also know that we have the promises of God that works all things together for our good.
Therefore, having known that fact, it is much more than a realization that only time would tell. You see, time is an instrument in the hands of The Almighty.
God dwells beyond the scope of time, and as God lives beyond the scope of time, He can direct events and circumstances in ways that will lead us to the desired goal that he has for our lives.
It is certainly true that most of us have had to wait for many years to see God’s promises unfolding in our lives. But if we didn’t need to wait for these things then perhaps our faith wouldn’t have relied upon God, but only upon circumstances.
The Angel of The LORD visited Abraham and informed him about what would come to pass. The ordeal was certainly something to hear, as Sarah was advanced in years and was getting too old to conceive a child.
And he said, “I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son.” And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him, (Genesis 18:14).
And then later on we see the fulfillment of this event that was promised: “For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.” (Genesis 21:2).
I’m certain that both Abraham and Sarah had spent their days wondering and laughing in consideration of the prospect of having a child in their old age.
In fact we know from scripture that indeed Sarah did laugh at the prospect of giving birth to a child. They may well have thought and uttered to themselves, “Time will tell….!”
The months went by and still Sarah did not give birth.
But as wait upon The LORD we shall renew our strength and we will then lift up like wings as of eagles.
What may well seem as a small beginning will in the end see the fulfillment of the Plans that God has for us.
We see this laid out in Zechariah 4:8-10,
“Moreover the word of The LORD came unto me, saying, the hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that The LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of The LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.”

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to The LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
RE: a future invasion. Are you sure its future? Or has it already happened? Perhaps what’s future is just the revealing of how we have already been invaded by godless ideologies. Now that the followers of those godless ideologies have completely infiltrated the major institutions of our country they have begun to take off their masks and reveal the extent of their invasion.
Thanks Bro. Steven I am encourage and motivated to wait for God’s Time which is his set time
God bless.
Thanks for this word Stephen. I have been waiting on the Lord for what seems a long time. Every so often I pitch a little fit and then I will read a word like this and it helps me get back on track. God bless you!
