The Mystery of Christ in You!
3 Words in 1
The LORD Is Speaking to Someone…..
Truly being judgmental is not judging the fruit of someone’s actions, but being judgmental is judging their motive.
I heard the LORD say, “Stop judging their motives because when you do, you are showing how dark your own are.
Not everyone has bad motives beneath what they do! Your own impure mind will cause you to judge all people’s motives by one standard and that standard is the condition of your own thought life.”
He said, “It is time to renew your own mind and forgive others! Then you can look at them through My eyes and judge righteous judgement!”
“Therefore you have no excuse or defense or justification, O man, whoever you are who judges and condemns another. For in posing as judge and passing sentence on another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge are habitually practicing the very same things [that you censure and denounce],” Romans 2:1 AMPC.
The Precious Blood of Jesus and the Mystery of Christ in You!
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,” 1 Peter 1:18-20.
One of the meanings in the dictionary of the word precious, is ‘Over-refined.’
When Jesus came and became one of us, He truly gave, not only his life on the cross, but His life was given to obedience to dying on a daily, minute by minute, second by second basis, never giving into the temptation to sin.
Through this in His humanity, He was refined and became the spotless sinless lamb. He then gave himself even to the death of the cross and became sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him!
My Vision of the Cross
I once had a vision of Jesus on the cross. While looking on this horrible sight, in the vision Jesus was completely pure as pure as the finest refined silver or gold and then the scene changed and I saw what looked like a form or a body hanging on that cross.
As He hung there, you could no longer even recognize that He was a man, the filth of the world came upon Him. Jesus became sin as I watched this horrific scene.
I remember weeping uncontrollably at the sight of Him because what was the purest human who ever lived had now become sin.
What a shock that must have been, to have been that pure and then becoming sin for us!
But not only did He become sin there on that tree, He had “Tasted sin for us” the Bible says, and He did it while we were yet sinners!
He daily died
Truly, He daily died for us also as it says in Philippians 2:6-10
“Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God, did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, but stripped himself of all privileges and rightful dignity, so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being and after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled himself still further and carried his obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore because He stooped so low God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, that in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should must bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”
He Brought us to Sonship
Yes, His blood was precious, because it was the pure blood of the one who came and yielded Himself from beginning to the end in obedience to His Father!
Satan therefore thought that he was taking Jesus’ life, but in reality, Jesus laid it down, fully and completely and in turn brought those who would believe into sonship with Him!
The spotless, sinless lamb of God freed us from sin and death so that we now could go forth and walk in newness of life!
The Mystery of Christ in you!
I asked Him many years ago, how He walked on a minute by minute basis without sinning and He spoke and said by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I then said, “Well then, you had an advantage because you were born pure and filled with the Holy Spirit and He quickly said “Yes, and so are you!”
His sinless life poured out, His precious, priceless, blood was shed for us not only to buy us back from the jaws of death, hell, and the grave, but it made a way for us to be born a new and for the holy spirit to come so that we could be filled with him, so that he could now not be confined to His own body, but be multiplied in each and everyone who will accept him and obey Him!
We now are the body of Christ and Philippians 2:5 says, “Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: let Him be your example in humility:”
Why? So that the world will see that same Jesus in each one of us!
Oh, the devil thought he had won but he did not understand this mystery or he would have not have crucified the LORD of glory!
No, he did not know that Jesus would live again in you and me! He did not know that it would seal his reign on the earth! He did not know the mystery that it would become, which is, “Christ in you the hope of glory!”
“But we speak the wisdom of god in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the LORD of glory. But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:7-9.
Mere Christianity
“I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.
That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic — on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg — or else he would be the Devil of Hell.
You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him LORD and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.”
