The Music Of The Children Of God
A Psalm to sing and praise to God, out loud.
The Music Of The Children Of God
Under an ever blue sky
Under sun dappled trees
By a gently running stream
The Lion sits resting
His eyes closed; His ears listening
Beside Him a child sits
Who has captivated His Heart so
With the joyful music of worship and praise
He ministers to his Lion King
The melody drifts through the air and melts the King’s Heart
With a swelling love so big its bounds are unseen
Oh do you hear what these children are saying?
From the lips of the children and infants you, LORD,
Have called forth Your Praise
Out of the mouths of babes praises to Him are sung
Here on earth and in heaven
Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called Children of God.
From the mouths of children
Truth is spoken
Their hearts beat so pure
That their souls shine in the ever loving kindness of their Lion King
Their faith flows like water
Over branches and boulders
They sing in joy of their King’s greatness
The leaves clap and the flowers sway
The squirrels come near to play
The deer and the foxes stand around
The King’s Heart feels it all
Oh do you hear what these children are saying?
From the lips of the children and infants you, LORD,
Have called forth Your Praise.
Out of the mouths of babes praises to Him are sung
Here on earth and in heaven
Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called Children of God.
Oh there is a peace calling so sweetly
That comes from a child’s heart
The joy of singing to his beloved Lion King
A ministering so deep
It makes those who are lost weep and long for a child’s heart
To find a love so deep
Its bounds are unseen
“Oh return to the Lion King,” it sings
“Come to Him who sits under ever blue skies
Under sun dappled trees
And rest forever in the ever loving kindness of your Lion King.”
Oh do you hear what these children are saying?
From the lips of the children and infants you, LORD,
Have called forth Your Praise.
Out of the mouths of babes praises to Him are sung
Here on earth and in heaven
Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called Children of God
“Oh come to Him who sits under ever blue skies
Under sun dappled trees
By a gently running stream
And rest forever in the ever loving kindness of your Lion King
Oh come to Him
And rest forever in the ever loving kindness of your Lion King!”
Oh can you hear them sing?
Can you hear the music of the Children of God?
Oh can you hear them praising Him?
Can you hear the music of the Children of God?
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, ‘From the lips of children and infants, you, LORD, have called forth your praise?’” Matthew 21:16.
“Blessed are the peacekeepers for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone of you who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Luke 18:16-17.
“Through the praises of children and infants, you have established a stronghold against your enemies to silence the foe and the avenger.” Psalm 8:2.
“Sing to The LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
The LORD has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations, He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Shout for joy to The LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to The LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn — shout for joy before The LORD, the King. Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy; let them sing before The LORD, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity.” Psalm 98.

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
This is beautiful beyond words!! What an inspiration! God is so glorified in your writing!
