The Mountain That Is Before Us
“And it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it,” Micah 4:1.
“Now it will come about that In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it,” Isaiah 2:2.
“He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, And sets me upon my high places,” Psalm 18:33.
Sometimes I consider that we can think that we have arrived to a place where we are secure and everything is fine in our relationship with Christ and those around us.
Whenever we get to this point, we must be aware that God will show us things where we have failed.
We can reach a plateau upon the cliffs and rest there for a season, and this can be a place where we have reached a certain place in Him. That can be good for a time, but if we stay there too long, we will quickly find out that we will be kicked off the cliff, and prodded to continue our journey.
No one should ever think that they have reached the mountain’s summit. For we are ever viewing it, and climbing it continuously. Every time that we think that we are closer to the peak, the angle changes and our observations show that it’s summit is much further than we once thought.
We are called to take the narrow road and to travel upon it. The wide road is much more available, and many walk upon it in this life. It appears to be quite smooth and paved with pleasant things. But it is actually a mirage, for the prince of the power of the air has disguised it to make it seem quite pleasing to those who would take it.
Mountain goats have found a way to traverse the rocky cliffs that they live upon. Their hoofs and strong shoulders enable them to leap and climb areas where others would quickly fall to their deaths below.
As we continue up the mountain that is before us, the Holy Spirit will strengthen us and give us spiritual muscles to continue the journey.
Selah,

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
The mountain as we perceive it to be is what we have created for ourselves. The man you owns nothing, posses everything. It isn’t until we come to the realization that God is not in control, but rather in charge that we realize it is our choices that create the terrain of the mountains that are in front of us. We have all power and authority yet we fail to us it because we expect God to do it for us. Our words have power and it’s time we stand and deliver.
