What should a true apostle of Jesus Christ in our modern day and time be like then, if we should meet one?

Here are a few possible pointers for direction —

• Someone who is unasserting, who does not walk up to you to shake your hand presenting himself as a ‘title’, but as a person!
   
  Who knows who he or she is, and who does need a list of accreditations to proceed him or her in announcing their importance and stature.
• A humble person, who would not make anyone feel intimidated by his position, or look down to them as being less.
   
  A warm and a friendly person, who will immediately make you feel welcome and at home in his presence, and who would in no way make you feel as though you have just entered the presence of ‘greatness’.
• A person who will be easy to communicate with, and who will talk to you as an equal (even if it means toning down a few notches to find your frequency), not talking down to you as being of a higher standing.
• A person who will be full of Christ, not full of knowledge about Him, but full of His Character, His Nature, His Personality and His Presence!
   
  I would expect to see Christ in his eyes and to feel the Presence of the Lord, just by being around him.
• A person who would not care about himself more than he cares about you, and who would not be there to minister to you, just to look great, and to sound great, or to show off his gifts, but who would minister from the heart, truly being concerned with your life and desiring for you to be touched by the Love of Christ.
• A person who would at all times speak openly and honestly.
   
  Who would have an honest Message at all times.
   
  Who will not tell you what he thinks you want to hear, but who will tell you the honest Truth, even if it is not what you would want to hear, and even if he knows that you may be offended by what he has to say.
• A person you can trust, a true mentor, who will speak from God’s heart to yours.
   
  A man of true integrity, honesty and sincerity.
