The Ministry of Love ❤️ 🕊

Some believe that the gifts of prophecy and tongues (the heavenly connector language) have ceased yet, the Revelation comes in the following verse that is often swept past or ignored.

Paul says that the partial will pass away. He is trying to help the Corinthians understand by saying that love is eternal, while spiritual gifts are temporary.

Verse 13 explains that we will no longer need to work to understand and wonder over the bit of knowledge we have about God and/ or His ways.

The perfect, which is Jesus Christ, will bring about the day when all is revealed to God’s children. When Christ returns, we will “know fully”!

Love will remain because God is love. The rest will not be needed at His Return.

Every gift is beautiful and may we come together using these gifts to exhort our God and each other to finish this great race.

We truly need to heed that it is love that throws Satan off guard, it is love that mends broken bridges and we as the body need to be joined in His love.

Argument, pride, ego, needing to be right, relishing the stumbling of brethren, opinion that has no convicting power in salvation, all these things grieve him 😢.

LORD, let what breaks your heart, break ours.

May only love drive our tongues and render our hearts and may we never cease to ask, “Search me God and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts and if there be any grievous way in me, reveal it and lead me in the way everlasting!”

Let’s run together with our God and see that Victory!

If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end.

For we know only in part, and we prophesy only in part; but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end. (1 Corinthians 13:1-10)
