The Mighty Paraclete
I saw fiery arrows being aimed at a Warrior of Christ.
They were being sent to pierce through his armor and bring him to his knees in submission and surrender.
But The Holy Spirit, the Mighty Paraclete was standing with the Warrior, standing by his side, standing back to back with him, shielding him and covering him so that the curses fell to the ground harmless.
“Beloved. Words like arrows have come to try to destroy you, My Child. The fiery darts of the enemy come to strike fear into your heart.
“Thoughts of hopelessness and depression have come to batter you and to steal your confidence in Me. Your present circumstances have caused you to think you are alone and the future is bleak.
“But do not fear, My Warrior. I AM with you like a Dread Champion. I have your back. I have sent the Helper to always be with you. He is your Partner, Dear One.
“He is your Strength and your Shield, your Glory and the Lifter of your head. If your God be for you, who can be against you?
“These words of the enemy shall fall to the ground harmless. They carry no weight in the Kingdom of God. They shall be dust under your feet, never to be remembered.
“For I AM He who turns curses into blessings for you because I love you. He who became a curse for you on the Cross now blesses you with Peace.
“I AM Yahweh, the LORD, the King of Glory, invincible in battle. Whom shall you fear? I AM with you like a Fearsome Warrior; I AM standing back to back with you in battle; therefore your persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
“They will be utterly ashamed, because they have failed, with an everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten. They will fight against you but never overcome you, since I AM with you to rescue you,” declares the LORD.
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Paraclete) to be with you forever,” (John 14:16).
PARACLETE: Holy Spirit; Greek: Summoned, called to one’s side, esp. called to one’s aid; “Helper.” Military meaning: Partner, the One who trained you, Who stands by your side, Who turns back to back with you to cover your back, who stands over you and shields you with His own body if you fall, Who tends your wounds after the battle.
