The Mighty Army

The Anointing Comes at a Cost
I felt this so strong to share this morning as the anointing is precious.
The anointing comes at a cost. So many times we see people who talk the talk, but never walk the walk.
The fruits are just not there. You cannot cling to the world and hold on to the coat-tail of Jesus too. We are in a time not to play games or sugar coat anything, but just be real!
As you get stronger with the anointing in your life, never forget that the presence of sin in your life, will make you and your words like, that of any other man before the people.
Samson for example, was strong and anointed; he had that call upon his life, but the presence of the words of a sinful woman in his life, made him like every other human being.
The scriptures says about how Delilah mistreated Samson:
“And when she pressed him day after day with her words and urged him, he was vexed to death. Then he told her all his mind and said to her, “A razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my birth. If I am shaved, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”
And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his mind, she went and called for the Philistine lords, saying, “Come up this once, for he has told me all he knows.”
Then the Philistine lords came up to her and brought the money in their hands,” Judges 16:16-18 AMPC.
You can see how mere words can transform a strong and anointed man, into an ordinary human being. Delilah pressed Samson with words over and over again, until he gave in to her pressure. Samson gave in to her words.
Words made a powerful man to become powerless. It is just as the word of God can build up the anointing over your life.
You carry that mission upon your life but if there is sin in your camp, it renders it ineffective and powerless.
We are to be the salt and light of this world.
The words of men can also lead you into temptation, causing you to start living like the ordinary people around you.
When you find yourself reacting to issues around you, with the same words of the unsaved people around you, remember that “..sin is at the door. And its desire is for you (your soul), but you should rule over it.” (Genesis 4:7).
Sin or unrighteousness will adversely affect your anointing.
There is a shake up coming for a wake up!
The Mighty Army
“Before them — fire devours. Behind them — a flame blazes. Nothing will escape them.
With a noise like that of chariots, they leap over the mountaintops, like a crackling fire consuming stubble.
They are my Mighty Army drawn for battle. They charge like warriors; they scale the walls like soldiers. They all march in line, not swerving from their course.
They are not distracted as each marches straight ahead. They plunge through defenses without breaking their ranks.
They rush upon the city; they run along the walls. They climb into the houses; like thieves that enter through the windows.
Before them the earth shakes, the sky trembles, and I, The LORD, thunders at the head of this army and you are my mighty warriors; with forces that are beyond number, and mighty are those who obey My Command.”
Move and advance Soldiers of God! Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith!

Alcohol in itself is neither Good or evil. You do not need alcohol to be drunk. Instead, be sober-minded in all situations. Alcohol DOES kill brain cells and, frankly, some thoughts and thought patterns are worthless and ought to be killed off. Dedicated commitment to God is more important than your commitment to your sobriety. This doesn’t give you a license to get drunk every day, or excuse anything you do or say under the influence. Discipline your mind and tongue and form ‘sober’ disposition and let the alcohol kill off the brain cells that you once used for the sins you repented of and that way, you are still cultivating your relationship with God. Ask God in prayer to protect your good habits and routines and kill your bad ones!
Power packed words and ones we don’t hear often these days. He calls us to be holy as He is holy and He has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit to help our thought-life to be transformed and our spirit man stronger day by day. I long to be as He is and He has promised that one day I will. REPENTANCE is part of my every day check; to ask for revelation of what is hidden to be revealed. I am blessed by this word and will strive to win the race :) Thank you Lord; thanks to you Janice for your obedience :)
I am trying to stay strong. I rededicated my life to the Lord two years ago. I have learned more in these last 2 years than I have ever known before.I sTill smoke but am trying to quit. Dear Janice, Always know that our Heavenly FATHER is in control of all situations in our lives. When we give HIM our whole being, the HOLY SPIRIT lives within us. JESUS cannot live where there is darkness because HE is LIGHT. Sometimes our habits, desires and wants are darkness and sometimes just what we are accustomed to.
Pray and ask GOD to take away the habits that may deter your relationship with JESUS. HE is the WAY, LIFE and Truth. Where HE lives, no darkness can prevail for HE is Light. Praying for you.
