The Message of The Cross
The Message of The Cross — the only message we were given that has the power to produce people after the image of Jesus Christ!
When God said, “Let us make man in our image,” He was talking about Jesus Christ, for He is the express image of the invisible God! (Genesis 1:26-28)
So sad that even today we have failed to produce after the very image of Jesus Christ, because we seldom talk about Him and therefore the present day believers hardly ever come close to the very Image and Power the early Church leadership and followers came close to!
We have gone into motivational speaking that even in that which we call ‘sermons’, we hardly ever hear the mention of His Name, hence manifestation of His Power is far from our meetings!
Majority of preachers now twist the heads of people and make them fall down, as a show of display of how powerful they are and not really about Jesus!
If we have been preaching and teaching the the birth, suffering, death, resurrection and accession of Jesus Christ, it is my humble opinion that we would have been able to produce men in the order of Jesus Christ who is the express image of the invisible God and then become on Earth the very exact image of the invisible God, as God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness to have dominion over all the earth!” (Genesis 1:26 emphasis added).
Only the truly Renewed and Recreated man can walk in His Dominion!
