The Mercy Seat represents the heart of God’s Love and Redemption.
In the Old Testament, it was the golden cover of the Ark of the Covenant, where the blood of the sacrifice was sprinkled to atone for the sins of the people.
Today, Jesus Christ is our Mercy Seat.
Through His ultimate sacrifice, He opened the way for us to boldly approach God’s Throne and receive Forgiveness, Grace, and Mercy.
But the Mercy Seat is not just a place of Forgiveness; it is also God’s Labor Room — a sacred place where His children are born again — Your heritage!
It is where sins are not only washed away, but lives are made new.
Just as the blood of the sacrifice brought atonement, the blood of Jesus gives birth to a new identity in Christ.
Here, the old life ends, and the new begins.
The Mercy Seat reminds us that God does not deal with us according to our sins but according to His unfailing love.
It is where mercy triumphs over judgment, where every sinner finds pardon, and where dead spirits come alive. It is the place where we are adopted into God’s family and called His own.
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3.
