The Measure We Are to Measure By
As I was praying and watching, I saw a straight line on a page, then a graph, then after a time I heard — “Plumbline!”
On this line I saw various ups and down’s in tracking the movement, but the center line never changed — because it is God’s Measurement — it is The Plumbline of God…His Word!
God was reminding me that we need to realize that there are many in the mix of troubles within The Church.
When we come among The Body of Christ and everywhere we go there are hurting people — and just maybe you are aligned to that measurement for the person you see?
How we approach someone can cause a lot of damage when we have an inflated opinion of ourselves.
We must remember that pride in us must be deflated and humbled, for then we can correctly see everyone as so vital to the mission of God.
Pride goes before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction. (Proverbs 16:18)
For those who have been given much, much is required (Luke 12:48 ).
When we want others to see our ‘elevated necessity’ and attempt to profess perfection, we are in slippery steps for a terrible fall.
When we have opened the door for the enemy by our pride, it causes us to abuse and to judge others!
In our perfection of works and lofty prideful thoughts, they attempt to hide our humanity from others and even ourselves!
We have fallen into living by works and our glory is our shame because we make ourselves out to be someone that we are not.
All of us in The Kingdom of God have the capability to elevate our self-rising image unto the heights of glory, perfection, and religion.
The only one perfect who was the sacrifice of it paid for it all, and that is how we are measured by.
The life of the Grace in Christ is from the beginning and until the end — PAID FOR!
The LORD paid it all, so all might live as He lives!
We are to remember that we measure all things in this life by how we obey The LORD. We stand against that Plumbline and build and align accordingly to it.
It is not that we are perfected by our own estimation, but by knowing and living by the Word of God.
As we align ourselves against God’s Word, what do we have to hide?
Why do we perform in front of people, or put on airs when we are doing well, when we are not?
Why do people say they are okay — when they are not?
Why are we attempting to profess our pride, comfort, and when we ache inside?
Where are the real believers that LIVE the Life that Christ taught us to live? Selah …..
“This is what He showed me: Behold, The LORD was standing by a wall true to plumb, with a plumb line in His hand. “Amos, what do you see?” asked The LORD. “A plumb line,” I replied. “Behold,” said The LORD, “I am setting a plumb line among My people Israel; I will no longer spare them.” Amos 7:7-8

Proverbs 16÷ 18-19
Pride Goeth before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall. Better is to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to decide the spoil with the proud.
