The Matter of the Palm Tree
In the circumstances of life, we find ourselves in situations where it will be wise to be like the Palm tree.
It doesn’t worry about how many times it might have to bend or bow in order to overcome the weight of afflictions that might come its way. For the palm tree bending and bowing strengthens its position and stance.
No matter how many storms that may come to destroy everything along its path; you can see it from a distance clothed with height and beauty. The quality of the plant was due to its fruits, the leaves sway with the wind of the spirit and its fullness shields the scorching sun from the birds who find shadow under its covering.
It is always better to take the high road or the more mature course of direction, no matter how you may have to bend or bow. Stand tall in the house of the LORD with strength and determination.
Decisions that you make will not always be popular but in all that you do, stand for God and walk in obedience. In your life you will become an example to that which is good and faithful.
True holiness stands tall and never wavers. Hear Abba and obey Him, and after all is said and done. As your life flourishes in Christ Jesus and the stream that surrounds you is pure — it will bring forth life and nourish all that is in its waters and it will yield forth true riches.
“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him,” Psalm 12:15.
“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper,” Psalm 1:3.
