The Lord’s Exceedingly Great Army
I heard God say that he has an exceedingly great army! So let the weak say that they are strong! No more excuses!
There is a spiritual war going on and there is going to be a great shaking in the earth and I heard God say that there can be no in-between in this army that he is raising up? Why? Because, if you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, god will spew you out of my mouth (Revelation 3:16).
God does not have any in-between saints in his army! I hear God saying that he doesn’t have any coward souls in his army? If you want to join this army it will have to be by faith: fear disqualifies you from becoming a solider in this army! Just as it did some of the solider of Gideon!
You see, he brought down the people unto the water: and The Lord said unto Gideon, every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; (not qualified) likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink, and the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men (qualified): but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. And the lord said unto Gideon, by the three hundred men that lapped will i save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place (Judges 7:5-7).
My God! I hear God saying that some of you want to be generals, but you haven’t even made the cut yet because you lack faith to get in the army! Without faith it is impossible to please God! Why? Because, without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to god must believe that he is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
You see, if you are desiring to be promoted in God in this season, you are going to have to stop depending upon others to hold your hand every time a trial comes your way!
You see, Barak said unto Deborah, if thou wilt go with me, and then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go. God had to deliver Sisera in the hands of someone else all because of fear! Fear paralyzes the people of God and keeps them from being effective! Had not Deborah agreed to go the people would have never received the victory! Deborah said I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for The Lord shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman (Judges 4:8-9).
I hear God saying that it is time to arise! The army that God is calling for in this season will require those that are strong to be both well equipped and being able to execute the word of God with power, and skill in this season! This army will have to be able to turn to God with there whole heart in case they are confronted by the enemy! No one will be allowed to go a-wall in Gods army! Why? Because he said now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise god our savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen (Jude 1:24).
I hear God saying that I will scoop you up with My hand when it seems as though the enemy is about to swallow you up in this army! God will fight and protect all those that are His in this season: so why do you think that He need cowards in this army? He doesn’t and that is why He is saying rend your heart and not your garments, and turn to The Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil! For who knoweth if The Lord will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto The Lord your God? (Joel 2:12-14).
Oh, I hear God saying to all that are in this army to blow the trumpet and to sound the alarm! It is time to sanctify yourselves, gather the people, the elders, the children, and those that suck the breast; let the Bridegroom go forth in His chamber, and the Bride out of her closet! Let the priest, the ministers of The Lord, weep between the porch, and the altar, and let them say, spare thy people, o Lord, and the give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them; wherefore should they say among the people, where is their God? (Joel 2: 15-17).
God will not be ashamed in this season; all that represent him in His army he is equipping with both power and grace to get the job done! So, if you are fearful and afraid it is time to go home where your weak god lies! But, if you desire to be strong I hear God saying: you don’t have to stay weak, or keep making excuses! For I heard God saying let the weak say that I am strong! (Joel 3:10).
For I hear god saying, He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in The Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. (Isaiah 40:29-31).
