If You Do This, I Will Do That!

“For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king,” (1 Samuel 15:23).

God promised to Abraham was that “if” he would walk with him and keep his covenant great kings would come out of his loins and his blessings would be as the stars he could not count or number!

Whenever a people, city, regions, nation forgets God, He rejects them and He can no longer crown them as Kings. But it looses favor, status and ranking with God!

As a result, God has to deal with it, because it is walking disorderly!

Remember, the favor of God is conditional “If you do this, I will do that!”

The LORD Said, “The Rooster Is Crowing!”

This morning as I was in prayer the Lord said, “The Rooster is Crowing!”

Jesus even warned Peter that Satan desired to sift him as wheat but Peter still refused to listen; instead Peter relied upon his own natural abilities and his strengths to protect him rather than the strength of a loving Savior who knew all things!

And so Christ said, “I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me,” (Luke 22:31-34).

According to the dictionary, the word sift means to examine and or to put (a fine, loose, or powdery substance) through a sieve so as to remove the lumps or large particles: as in “sift the flour into a large bowl.”

Last night, I had another series of dreams and in one of the dreams, I remembered this lady coming to my house to tell me something, but when she got there she never told me.

I went all through this house to see what she wanted, but when I finally opened the door all this junk was in this house.

As I went to the second dream, there was this man in the house throwing this cat at me. I could feel so much fear, as he kept passing it back and forth unto me.

But in the third dream, I was in this closet and all of a sudden a whole bunch of locust came flying out this closet at me. There were hundreds of them. So many I could not even count them.

I said, “LORD what do you mean the rooster is crowing?” The LORD went on to say to me, “Extend some more roses to the people this morning!”

As I have said many times, God is extending roses to the nations as an opportunity to repent, as he sends many warning out to the nation.

But instead, many are not taking it seriously, as Peter did when Jesus said,

“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.”

Like the cat in the dream, there was a fear. But this fear can be both good and evil depending upon the person and or the situation. Because some people love cats ~ but some others absolutely hate them.

So I believe in this season, the LORD is saying for the people to take heart. You don’t have to be a scaredy-cat, but you sure need to take heart in every situation, as I did when this person kept throwing me this cat which had very sharp claws!

“But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, (come to know the Lord intimately) strengthen thy brethren.”

In other words Jesus knew that it was still some things in Peter’s life that needed to be sifted that Peter himself did not even recognize just how weak he truly was!)

“And he said unto Him, LORD, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.”

How many times have we as a nation and as a people declared our loyalty and faith unto God, all to be no more than lip service; rather than heart service?

However, like in the dream, God is calling for us to do house cleaning in this season and to begin to examine our own individual house and to see what it is that needs to be sifted and cleaned out of our own personal closets.

In other words He is saying, “Set your houses in order for the locust are coming!”

I believe that these locust I saw in the closet are symbolic for judgment/ plagues/ pestilence, curses, the devourer, and or death that was hid in the closet and I found them as I opened the door!

Jesus tried to warn Peter of what was to come by sending the rooster to crow several times one after another, but Peter failed to take heed to the words of the LORD!

Just as many will do when God sends his prophets to warn you of pending destructions that is about to take place in the nations, some will be like Peter and will still not take heed!

God is truly speaking to His people; as well as the prophets today. In the dream, this person who came to give me the message never did, but what we as prophets need to know, is that if you warn not the people and they died in their iniquity, the blood will be required at your hands!

When I use to live on a farm and in the biblical days, roosters were common within the towns and cities. In fact, the first crowing often occurred around midnight. The second crowing could be expected before daybreak.

Jesus’ prediction about Peter’s denials meant that Peter would have several opportunities all night long to rethink his statement and the failures that he made, that he would never forsake the Lord.

The validating claim he made was when he told Jesus, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). However, despite his three opportunities, the overconfident Peter denied His Lord every time.

When daylight came, Jesus’ mock trial was over, and Peter lost his opportunities to defend Jesus, as he had claimed he would do (Mark 14:29).

How many of us are making claims and declaring decrees that we will stand with the LORD no matter what comes?

Come on somebody, a rooster will crow when he senses danger, when another rooster threatens his flock, or simply because he got his days and nights mixed up.

So it is perfectly understandable that Jesus would have been precise in prophesying to Peter that a rooster would actually crow twice during the time Peter was denying Him.

I believe that this rooster is sent to both gather and to remind the nations that Christ is extending hope (roses) to sinners everywhere, before impending judgment falls.

In addition, this rooster is also seen as proclaiming the start of a new day, and that we are in the middle of midnight crisis that only Christ himself can intervene to keep the enemy from sifting us as wheat!

I do not say this to bring fear upon you like it was in the dream when this man kept throwing this cat at me, but I say it for you to examine your walk in Christ; something that Peter refused to do!

In Christ, all things become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). A new day of forgiveness and grace has dawned, and believers, saved by grace, proclaim the good news to a world in need of light.

“And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly,” (Luke 22:60-62)

The rooster is crowing, will you be found in the will of God?
