The LORD Is Merciful and Full of Compassion
The LORD Is Merciful and Full of Compassion — but He will not always look the other way!
As I was meditating upon The LORD, He brought back a word my daughter had given me regarding a visitation she had from The LORD.
She said she saw a man in this visitation and his face was red and his cheeks glistening and as I thought upon her visitation, The LORD began to speak to me regarding the wrath and the anger of The LORD.
As I read the entire Book of Zephaniah, Zephaniah knew that neither the false gods, nor the people who worshiped them, would be able to escape God’s wrath, just like the might of the Assyrian army that could not save them, that had been unfaithful to God.
Many who teach prosperity messages of justification and are deceiving the people with gifts, talents and the supernatural with no deliverance or transformation in sight, God Himself shall deal with them who have begun to point the people to them; instead of Christ.
God is gracious, kind, loving and a compassionate Savior, but when all His Warnings are continuously ignored, judgment is to be expected for all those who shrug up their shoulders stick out their chests and noses at what God has said unto them by the prophets and others, and in that day, God’s Day of Judgment is sure to come, as is frequently mentioned in the Scriptures.
The prophets called it the “The coming of The LORD.” They referred to various events — such as the fall of Jerusalem — as manifestations of God’s Day which pointed toward the ultimate Day of The LORD.
As I was meditating upon The LORD, Zephaniah’s message of judgment and encouragement contained 3 important ideas we as a nation should get from this Book which is:
- God is sovereign over all nations.
- The wicked will be punished and the righteous will be vindicated in the day of God’s judgment.
- God blesses those who sincerely repent and trust in Him.
I believe that as we enter a dark time of darkness (the love of many has begun to wax cold) where wickedness has increased and shall continue to increase more and more we shall see the hands and the finger of God begin to deal with the hearts of the wicked and all that is evil because of the prays of the righteous that prevailed much:
As stated,
“Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of The LORD’s wrath. In the fire of his jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live in the earth.” Zephaniah 1:18.
Zephaniah continues on to say,
“Seek The LORD, all you humble of the land, (meaning put away your pride, vanity and your arrogance) you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of The LORD’s anger.” Zephaniah 2:3 emphasis added.
My God! My LORD! Jesus have Mercy Oh God!
“For, The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His Love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17.
For, The LORD has taken away your punishment only through Christ who came to die for the sins of His People. (Zephaniah 3:15; John 3:16).
For many have not yet recognized their true Savior. And have refused to humble themselves because they believe that this is yet to happen (Romans 11:25-27).

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
