The LORD is Married to the Backslider!
As I was meditating upon The LORD, He be gin to speak to me regarding how some people are so easily mislead and misguided when it comes to their souls!
Judah already saw what their sister Israel was going through, yet she ended up following in her footsteps in becoming the whore!
You would have thought, just by observing what Israel had gone through, it would have caused Judah to flee unfaithfulness to God. But it did not!
“They say, If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him and becomes another man’s, shall he return unto her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted?
But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me,” saith The LORD.
The LORD said also unto Jeremiah in the days of Josiah the king,
“Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? She is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.”
Meaning, it was her choice to allow her heart to become defiled with another man’s scent!
Anytime we leave God, we become both defiled and contaminated with the scent of the enemy; instead of the aroma of God!
And, like any faithful man, The LORD pleaded with Israel to return back to him. But she returned not.
The LORD in this season is still dealing with the hearts of His People to return back to Him.
Unlike many husbands, The LORD is revealing His undying love to those who have allowed other gods to grip their hearts and their souls, like Israel had done.
So many have allowed other things besides God, to lead their hearts as both Israel and Judah had done!
God said instead of them trying to come clean of their sins and confessing and forsaking them, they lifted their eyes unto the low places, and refused to see where they had been lien with.
He compared them with the Arabian in the wilderness; and said that they had polluted the land with their whoredoms and with their wickedness rather than following him. My God!
The LORD spoke about those who had played the whore and how they had not even had personal respect for themselves, and instead of them showering, they had been with holding from even bathing themselves as a real woman would have after having sex with her spouse, but like any whore, Israel and Judah had lost all respect for themselves (which is what sin does when we dip and dab in it we loose all perspectives of right and wrong as the Prodigal Son did when he found himself eating the husk of the swine!) and as result there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
Jeremiah, the weeping Prophet, began to weep for these two nations because he saw the conditions of there hearts as the prophets of today do!
He said to them what was on the heart and mind of God,
“Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth? Will he reserve his anger for ever? Will he keep it to the end?
Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest. The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done?
She is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it and I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.”
My LORD, My God. The LORD is revealing unto His People how sin can have such a devastating affect on the others who are watching us wallow in our sins, and when we don’t repent of that sin, how it can spoil a whole bunch of other apples.
This is why God comes to fight against it with the sword of his mouth! And, not only does it contaminate but it is up to the body of Christ to cry loud and to spare not lift up their voices like a trumpet, and shew God’s people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins, (Isaiah 58:1).
For, I hear God saying, “Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against The LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed My Voice,” saith The LORD.
“Turn, O backsliding children,” saith The LORD; “for I AM married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: and I will give you pastors according to Mine Heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding,” (Jeremiah 3:1-15 KJV).

As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Apostle Fisher,
The Lord laid on my heart the words of Jeremiah, “Return ye backsliding children”. And as I began to study and do some research on that scripture, google brought me to your message.
Thank you for allowing God to use you to bless many. Pray for me as I continue to walk in the Lord.
God bless you my sister in Christ for sharing.
So true.
God bless you, Apostle and Minister of most High God! I receive this message, which is rarely spoken on in these last days. The Lord’s Grace and Mercy, His favor is far beyond comprehensive, the love of God itself is amazing! I will keep you lifted up in sincere prayer, as you are a powerful encouragement to me and I am sure, so many others.
