The LORD is GOD! – Part 2
A blessed day; here is yet another anointed article that will bless you.
It’s long, but very powerful. Be Blessed.
The LORD is GOD! Part 2
Yesterday we explored God’s attribute of Trustworthiness, because He changes not, and He cannot lie.
Trusting God because of His unchangeable nature and infallible word, is the bedrock of every other thing we do for, and expect from, Him. It is the anchor upon which other attributes hold.
Let’s examine another important attribute. Read this to the end with expectation and in tongues, it’s prophetic.
GOD IS:-
✅ ABLE
Probably many of God’s children are not in doubt of God’s ability, but what they’re unsure of, is how this ability translates into tangible benefits in their daily lives, and how they can take advantage of it.
Consider and meditate on these scriptures:-
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen,” Ephesians 3:20-21.
“Behold, I AM the Lord , the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27.
God is able to do. He has the ability to do whatever He has to do when we ask Him.
He is willing and able to perform His word to you. However, His ability supersedes our praying and our wildest imaginations.
Think about that for a moment! No matter how vast your prayers are, and how grand your dreams and imaginations seem; His ability to do or accomplish them through you is far above them.
He said He is the God of all flesh, not only is He able to perform miracles; it is not too hard for Him to do it. Miracles are a simple thing to God; they only look big to human minds.
Wow, wow, just to think about this, makes my faith in Him bigger than any hardships or severity of any need. There is nothing too hard for God, absolutely nothing.
Remember the LORD He is GOD. He says:
“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert,” Isaiah 43:19.
If your life has become stale, where you are tired of the same old story; here He says;
“See I do a new thing.
I change your experiences, I give you a new beginning, I give you a new story.”
Old things are passed away, see, all things have become new. Just in-case you are wondering how this can be possible, He says; “I even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert!”
Wow, wow, this is deep. Even if it means making a way where there was none, and rivers where they are not found, the LORD says, He will even do that!
Whether it needs giving you new friends, changing your clientele, making governments change or changing seasons, for your sake, He will do it. Hallelujah.
God has a track-record, a history and a rich curriculum vitae (CV), don’t doubt Him. Let’s look at it randomly;
- He parted the Red Sea.
- He rained down food from heaven.
- Brought water out of a rock.
- Made a donkey to speak to a prophet.
- Made the sun to stand still in order for Joshua to win a war.
- Sent birds to feed a prophet.
- Made the last meal of a widow turn into a continual supply of sustenance during famine.
- Brought rain from a cloud as small as a human hand.
- Raised Cyrus a heathen king and used him for Israel’s sake.
- Fed 5000 men not counting women and children with a boy’s lunch.
- Brought back the 4-day dead and buried Lazarus to life.
- Raised back our Lord Jesus with a glorified body, never to die again.
The list is inexhaustible, however, think on these, see God’s ability.
How do we key in, in this ability?
Believe in God’s ability to work for you, more than the need’s or devil’s ability to harm you.
It is written: “Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes,’“ Mark 9:23.
Turn your belief in faith.
Faith is belief in action; acting on what you believe. Now that you believe, do something about it.
Ask and you’ll receive.
Knock and the door will be opened.
Seek and you’ll find.
Faith is the power that works in us, which determines how much of God’s ability is working in and for us. Your faith is determining how much of God’s ability you’re taking advantage of.
Today, meditate on God’s ability and see your needs and challenges, too small in the light of His power.
Trust in God’s ability. See that miracle you want, no matter the obstacle. What’s impossible to men is possible to GOD.
