The Rapids And The Calm

A river can have rapids, as well as calm waters.

At times, the waters flowing calmly is almost the same amount of water flowing in the rapids. The rushing water is squeezing through a narrower pathway, as well as flowing over rocks.

There are times when you are going through what seem like rapid, intense events in your life, when you feel like you are really being squeezed. Then you come to calm, free flowing waters.

The Spirit of The LORD is carrying you through the rapids, assuring you along with the flow, so that when you come to the calm, you will realize that it was He Who has been carrying you all along.

His Presence has never left you.

Trust in The LORD with all of your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in everything you do and He will direct your path.

The LORD Gives You Time!

The Word that The LORD has given you will never fall to the ground.

That which He has given you in the past is still alive. He has never forgotten the promises He has given you, neither will He hold back what you have not heard yet.

Since The LORD is the same yesterday, today and forever, time does not cause His promises to suddenly become nothing. Time cannot wear out the promises of God!

Time does not stop Him.

Time cannot stop Him.

He gives you time to comprehend His voice.

He gives you time for the renewing of your mind.

He gives you time for your obedience.

He gives you time to realize His Presence.

He gives you time to recognize that you are not you own.

He gives you time to be still and wait upon The LORD.

He gives you time to begin to hear Him call you by your name.

He gives you time to become all He has for you.

His timing will meet you face to face.

He desires your time to be with you.

He desires your time for the Spirit of The LORD to indwell you.

He is saying to you “Seek My face.”

“Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

He is faithful Who promised, and He will do it.

Trust in The LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all that you do and He will direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6).
