Some time ago the LORD led me to the story of Gomer and Hosea.

He said,

“Did you notice that Gomer was graciously invited to live in the prophet’s house?

That she was living with righteousness in a righteous environment?

And that she spent every day with My Servant, who’s ear was open to My Voice?

Did you notice that Gomer lived with the man whom I was speaking through and through whom I called My People to repentance?

Yet amidst all of this, Gomer, herself, did not repent from her own wayward ways!

Nor did she pay any attention to the message of my prophet, or the fact that she had been brought into the house of My Salvation!”

This is the key lesson….

You may live in a prophet’s house, and still end up being condemned yourself!

You can ‘live’ in the religious church and be a part of every activity that is happening around you, and still end up being lost!

God may gracefully grant you the opportunity to be right in the middle of His will being revealed and in His current move – Yet you may miss it all together!

Unless you, personally, yield yourself and submit to Him and to His move, living in the ‘prophet’s house’ offers no saving grace in your life!
