The Lily of the Valley

In humbleness and grace He came from above,
born out of God’s unconditional love…
Love for a people who were in need of great grace,
thus He was born to save the human race.

In humbleness and grace He came from above…
Knowing that his future was short,
for soon He would demonstrate
God’s great and unconditional love.

In humbleness and grace He came from above…
He was a king, yet made low, to walk with man…
A man who was fashioned by God’s loving hand.

In humbleness and grace He came from above…
A messiah was born,
born of flesh, but great power was in his blood.
Deliverance was his destiny thus is why he came!

In humbleness and grace He came from above…
Agony and pain would come, but yet He wasn’t done.
He walked the hill with great grace and carried our sin and shame.
The cross he bore was ours to bare, yet He did it all the same!

In humbleness and grace He came from above…
The Lily of the Valley, majestic yet made low, so that we may know
salvation as our gift and His grace would over flow!

A king who bowed His head in humbleness and grace…
Heaven is our home because of God’s amazing grace!
Jesus… The Lily of the Valley…majestic yet made low.
