Grace and its Sufficiency

Grace does not mean that you are automatically re-instated to previous enjoyments.

This act of God is powerful, but it will never interfere with the consequences brought along on account of sin.

The power of grace is in the truth that it is sufficient to make you live with that which you could otherwise not handled on your own. But in matters relating to Sin; know that, sin is a seed, and when planted in normal life situation, it must be harvested.

God in His word has invested pictures, circumstances and the wisdom of the spirit, just to deter His children from the slavery and destruction that sin brings.

The Last Healing Miracle

The last healing miracle that Jesus did towards the end of His ministry, was to heal someone who had been injured by one of His own disciples.

When Peter used his sword unwisely to severe the ear of Malchus, Jesus picked it and attached it back.

In this regard, even today, God’s flock has been subjected to injuries that our shepherds have caused, in the way they have handled the sheep.

Our Lord Jesus, by His act, was establishing a very critical ministry principle, applicable to these days of apostasy, particularly where injustices have been done.

Jesus did not not side with Peter on the basis, that Peter was “protecting” the master. He knew Peter was serving self-interest, as in many other occasions where he manifested selfish motive.

In the act of healing Malchus, the message is even deeper. Jesus was exposing one of his own with unscrupulous character. The latter glory serves the purpose of exposing flaws in the Church and establishes grace to realign order that has been corrupted.

Every stone must not be left upon one another. The latter glory comes with massive power. This leadership of the spirit, calls for right judgement of sin, it yells that, sin is sin.

Isaiah predicted that day, where the earth shall not hide her slain. If blood (injustices) is poured, then it will be called for what it is, Isaiah 26:21, “For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”
