The Kingdom’s Payday
The Kingdom’s Payday:
Do You Want Your Pay-Cheque
or… Do You Want an Investment?
“And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus. And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him,” Esther 6:2-3.
Imagine Mordecai, already having asked for his payment, immediately he did a service to the King, in saving the king’s life.
The record in the books would have been that Mordecai had already been sorted out — Mordecai wages would have been paid, and the readers of the book would simply flip to the next page.
Many times, we are too quick to seek a paycheck for a service rendered, either in The Kingdom, or in the spheres of life — and when it seems delayed, we cringe and cry about out labors and how it is not being rewarded.
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister,” Hebrews 6:10.
One thing is certain, every deed done receives its reward. However, like Mordecai and like those whose names appear in The LORD’s Book of Remembrance, they leave their payday in the Hand of The LORD, so it becomes a weapon of war in their favor, at a time when matters are weighed and scaled.
Many people, through impatience, sabotage The Kingdom’s Payday that has been reserved for them to bring them a much more tremendous reward.
Like King David asked,
“And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” 1 Kings 17:26.
King David received his wages, was brought into the Kings house, promised the Kings daughter, but this was the beginning of his wars.
“And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house,” 1 Samuel 18:2.
They cry out, asking for a paycheck, and assurance of paycheck, even when they’ve not done the job or half way into the job.
They may get their paycheck, however, it would be on record that they have been paid for their service.
Your name in The LORD’s Book of Remembrance, is a weapon in the hand of the Almighty that can turn around an extremely chaotic and existential situation.
Before mouthing how much you have done for The LORD, and how much The Kingdom “owes” you, as the basis on which you demand a payback — lean on to know if The LORD is investing your paycheck in The LORD’s Book of Remembrance.
“Then they that feared The LORD spake often one to another: and The LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared The LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith The LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels, and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him,. Malachi 3:16-17.
There is a paycheck for your labor that can come in form of wages. However, sometimes The LORD wants to help you invest your paycheck by writing your name in His Book of Remembrance — so that at the appointed time, it will come back to you, press down, shaken together, abundantly running and overflowing.
“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee, what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last, and the last shall be first,” Matthew 19:27-30.
When The Kingdom’s Payday comes, would you leave your Paycheck in the Hand of The LORD?
Or would you demand your wages according to your labors?

You shall receive 100 fold now and in the world to come. I believe it is ok to ask God what’s in it for me. Because it a choice of our will to serve. The truth sets you free! To make a choice of free will. It is ok to ask because he said ask, seek and knock..and he told us to come to him and reason together with him it helps with understanding God ways of doing things. Ask and you shall receive knock and the door will be opened
