Do you not know that the kingdoms of this world will not stand?

Even the mighty empires of old are now only found in history books. Nothing remains of them but the story they tell. In this same way, the kingdoms of the present age shall fall and should kingdoms rise up to replace them, they too shall join their predecessors.

“The heavens and the earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away, “ Jesus – Matthew 24:35.

So why do we put so much stock in that which will not stand?

Why do we rely on governments as our primary source of hope?

The Word of the LORD is truth and as it is spoken, so it shall be. The Social Security system will fail. The Medicaid and Medicare programs will fail. Welfare will fail. Healthcare will fail. The stock market will fail. Your bank account will fail. The United States of America will fail. Indeed, all the nations of this earth will fail!

The LORD JESUS alone will not fail.

It is for this reason that we cannot “put our trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.” Jesus alone saves. He alone remains. His word endures forever. His promises endure forever. His name will be shouted from the mountaintops.

It will be proclaimed by every tribe of every nation, past, present or future. Every knee will bow and declare that He alone is LORD.

Rightly choose whom you will trust. Rightly choose whom you will serve. There are but two choices and only one of them leads to life. “I AM the way, the truth and the life” declares the LORD JESUS. No man can come into relationship with God apart from Him. No man can inherit salvation and eternal life apart from Him.

“Do you not see your folly?” declares the LORD. “Do you not see the error of your ways?

I have instructed you to walk by faith and not by sight.

I have instructed you to put the entirety of your trust in Me, not in this world.

I have instructed you on the way that you should go and yet many are stubborn and will not follow.

Many insist that there is no God despite the evidence of My creation. Others say that our evil and righteous deeds will be measured against one another on a cosmic scale to determine who has earned salvation.

Still others insist that there are many paths to Me. My Son spoke the truth and apart from Him there is no relationship with Me. You cannot earn My promise.

It is a gift and it can only be received by faith in My Son, Jesus. He alone is the hope of all mankind.”

The word has been given. It is simple and yet putting the full weight of your faith into it is the most profound, life changing decision you will ever make. There is no complex set of formulas. It comes down to only a few things. Confess, repent, ask and receive.

Do you need any further evidence? Look outside your front door. Things may appear as normal. The electricity works, your car is in the driveway. Your house seems intact… situation normal, right? WRONG.

The nations of this world are being shaken. All the words written above will come to pass and in fact they are presently coming to pass. All hopes in this world will be shaken. All hopes in this world, its rulers, its nations, its financial systems and healthcare systems will fail. Those who hold on stubbornly will find that these hopes slip through their fingers just as sand.

This message is for one and for all as is the prayer below. As stated, it is as simple as confessing, repenting, asking and receiving.

Jesus says, “Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened unto you.”

LORD, on this day I have made a choice.

I have chosen to receive Your precious gift of salvation through Your Son, Christ Jesus.

I confess my sins to you, LORD. I believe that Jesus can wash them away with His shed blood.

I do not wish to return to the place that I came from. Instead I choose to follow You and Your ways. Jesus, come into my heart.

Come into my life. I receive not just a piece of You but all of You. I give You not just a piece of me but all of me.

I choose on this day to hold nothing back. I receive Your gift. I receive Your promise! Thank you, LORD for being true to Your word. On this day and in all my days, my desire is to trust You and You alone.

I pray this in the name of Jesus.

Did you pray this prayer from your heart?

If you did, I want to share something with you. You are now covered by the blood of Christ! And as God’s word says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17.

You will never again be the same old you. You may feel that way sometimes, but it does not change the truth of who you now are in Christ.

One more thing I would like to add. Romans 10:9-10 instructs, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

So don’t just pray this prayer and walk away. Declare your decision. Declare it here online. Declare it to your friends, your family, your neighbors and your co-workers.

In this you are simply coming into agreement with God’s word. As is said in verse 11 of the passage above, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
