The King is Coming!

The King is Coming!
“But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming, and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth,” Matthew 24:48-51.
I have found that many in the church who looked for the rapture or something catastrophic to happen on a specific date in September, and found that no collection of events happened on that day, took to bashing others by calling them false prophets and heretics. Then they continued on with their everyday lives mocking end-time prophecy, or by quoting that famous verse, “No one knows the day or the hour.”
Are we really that dense as a church? The first thing I want to say is that no one should be giving “specific dates” for events like the rapture anyhow. But just because the world didn’t all fall apart at the seams in one day, doesn’t mean judgement isn’t coming or that we’re not in the season for the return of the Lord.
For four years people, have said that an asteroid was going to hit the Atlantic and cause a tsunami. For the last three years, that something bad was going to happen on October 1st, and on, and on. Even when the Lord gave me a time frame for the economic collapse beginning at the last four months of this year and rolling into 2016, someone started saying that I said the stock market would crash on September 23rd.
I was talking to the Lord regarding all of this, and He reminded me of the scripture above about wicked servant. We need to make sure we are not falling into this category with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, by mocking, bashing and scoffing at those who didn’t reach a specific date or time.
We must remember that Isaiah prophesied the birth of Christ seven-hundred and fifty years before He came. And there are still prophecies of Daniel, Ezekiel and others that have yet to come to pass, twenty-five hundred years later. So are they false prophets?
The disciples were preaching that they were living in the last days and believed that the return of the Lord would happen in their lifetime. Were they heretics? The answer is NO!
No matter what, we are living in the last days; living in season of the Bridegroom’s return. We are closer to the Lord’s coming than any other generation of believers in history. The Lord is coming to reign as King and to judge the earth.
If a Judge was coming to your house, you’d make sure that it was clean and in order. If the Judge’s arrival were a long way off, you might be lax. But the closer you’d get to the Judge’s arrival, the more alert you would become. Since we are the generation chosen to be closer to the Judge’s coming than any other, we need to be even more holy, sanctified and sober.
The King is coming. The Judge is coming. So live in a manner worthy of Him, ready for Him. He is the Bridegroom, and He is coming only for a spotless Bride.
Joaquin
It’s interesting that the name Joaquin means “God Will Judge.”
The Lord gave me a dream in July, about a hurricane that would scale the east-coast packing a punch. In the dream, once it scaled past Virginia, I couldn’t see it anymore. I wrote in my blog that I wasn’t sure “if” it would make landfall, but the the Lord said that it would be part of the judgement for the changing of the marital laws.
So on that day, when the constitution was changed, a mock rainbow was displayed on the White House giving honor to a desecration. The true rainbow was a promise from God to Noah, that He would never flood the entire earth again. So I find it interesting that this storm, although never making landfall, has brought historical flooding to the east-coast, including the DC/ Northern Virginia area.
