The Kindness Of The Power Of God
“Your loving kindness is better than life. My lips will praise You, thus will I bless You; I will lift up my hands in Your Name,” Psalm 63:3.
Your life has passed from death to life, from darkness to light. From being far from God, to being brought near by the Blood of Christ.
None of this could take place by your own volition, by your own power or by your own thinking.
His ways are much higher than your ways and His thoughts much higher than your thoughts.
You would not even be aware of what He does, or what He is doing unless you have the mind of Christ.
And you would not even have the mind of Christ without His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.
While reading history, we may at times be sleeping through the events that took place, because we have not been wakened to their impact.
The Apostle Paul states: “Awake, oh sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:13).
Also in Romans 12:1-2,
“I beseech you, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you will prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
The LORD has given you complete access to Who He is, He has given you the right to enter the Holy of Holies through the veil, which is His Body, so that you can find grace to help in your time of need.
He understands that we are but dust without Him, without the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. His thoughts toward you are more numerous than the sand on the seashore.
We have come to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering, being made conformable to His death.
“He has given us baptism also to bring us into conformity to His resurrection, where “we go down in death, and rise again in newness of life,” Philippians 3:10.
“Now, what can we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.
And,
“When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men,” Ephesians 4:8.
He has given you the ability to hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit. He leads you along the path of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Because of His Power in the midst of any storm you may experience, He will send forth His Word, it will not return to Him void, or cancelled out, It will accomplish the purpose for which He sent it.
Remember Elijah in First Kings 17.
The Word That Is Sent is Rhema. It is life giving Spirit.
You are the purpose for which He will send forth His Word.
Because He is your glory and the lifter of your head.
He is your shield and your exceedingly great reward.
