Worshipers Lead

This post from more than a couple of years ago, speaks to me yet again.

The thing that stands out is the comment about musicians always preceding the Army of The LORD into Battle.

Is The LORD reminding us of the importance of praise and worship in our meetings?

Is He urging us to praise and worship in order to put the enemy to fight?

I think He is doing just that!

It’s time to say, like Joshua,

““Now therefore, fear The LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve The LORD! if it seems evil to you to serve The LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve The LORD!” Joshua 24:14-15.

I believe The LORD is calling us to now choose, like Peter,

“But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.”” Acts 5:29.

The hour of decision is fast approaching – it’s up to you!

The Hordes of Hell

Something stirs my heart today.

I feel the wind stirring. The sky is clear blue — but I hear and smell rain.

The weather forecast predicts possible thunder boomers later. But right now it’s a beautiful still sunny day — and I feel it’s being stirred up.

I look out, and among the cotton wool balls of fluffy clouds skating quietly by there is one like Elijah’s ‘Cloud as big as a mans hand’.

To my amazement, the hand beckons me and I find myself high above the earth looking around.

I see the Army of The LORD moving into battle formation. How do I know it’s battle formation?

I’ve no idea, I just know it. I see the chariots and horsemen of Israel, surrounded by billowing fire and smoke.

I see Warrior Angels in rank after rank marching to their places.

Then I see musicians — trumpeters, tambourines, harpists, flautists, and drummers.

An Angel standing near me smiled and said, “Of course there are musicians. They always precede us into battle.

The hordes of Hell are coming,” continued the Angel, “and we must be ready for them.

The LORD knows their every move before they make it.

They are a defeated foe but they don’t know it, Satan has never told them the full meaning of Calvary!

War in heaven is about to start and it will fall over into earth —- but Satan can never win!”

He reminded me of Revelation 12 and of other prophecies about this.

“Always remember, The LORD is always with you, no matter the trials or the celebrations, He is always with you.”
