The Holy Spirit Will Reveal to You!
People who only know the theology of the Word and do not understand that God can give different revelations of the Word, will always challenge those who go beyond their limited understanding.
The Word is the beginning point of your examination of what’s being said. The mysteries of God Word are only revealed to those who have the Spirit of God and whom He chooses.
I know people who are in Schools of Theology and have not even accepted GOD as real or JESUS as their Savior. They not filled with the Holy Spirit and are incapable of discerning spiritually things properly.
People have not understood the differences yet between Logos & Rhema.
There are some who don’t want deeper understanding of the knowledge of scripture and those things pertaining to the Word of God. They are comfortable with just knowing the Word to quote, but not to understand the Word they are speaking.
Often in conversations with other leaders, I have met the stern resistance of those who have not studied, but will debate, argue and almost fight when you try to teach them beyond their comprehension.
When Jesus spoke to His disciples, He spoke with clarity and understanding, but when He was among the crowds, He spoke in parables, so that those who were not in the Kingdom couldn’t receive the mysteries that were only to be revealed to those who were His.
I have learned not to try to force greater knowledge and understanding upon people who don’t want it. When you go beyond just the letter of the Word, most won’t receive your knowledge.
I have learned to study to show myself approved unto God and to listen to His Spirit. In doing so, God takes me into a deeper realm of study which includes knowing the origin of words, the true meanings of words.
He has taught me history and understanding of cultures and of different nations, as to why things were written and to whom they were written.
It gives me a more clear and precise picture of what was being said, and why, and how, to rightfully interpret what was being spoken through those who were moved by the Spirit of God to write the scripture.
There’s so much that needs to be taught, so that people will not make so many errors. I’m thankful for those whom God has allowed to help, train and teach me and for those from whom I glean from their tables of wisdom and knowledge.
If I ever stop being a student, then I will stop learning and growing. So each day I set out to learn something different about the Word. No matter how much I learn, I yet learn more.
Teaching and Preaching should stir up your hunger to learn more, which in turn should inspire you to study more. I know that growing up, I would just sit and just read encyclopedias and dictionaries all day.
I would watch on television those programs which teach different studies of various things. I love to learn, because I have always been interested in the why, how and what of things, so I study the word to learn more about what was being said, and to learn more about the character and mind of God.
I look at everything that happens to me as a lesson, or a teaching tool. The passion to know more burns deep within me and teaches me how to discipline myself and to remain rooted and focus.
I have learned that not everyone shares that desire to just want to learn about the Kingdom or to know more about God, or to get deeper in studying the word. So sometimes I can’t hold a conversation with people, because my language is foreign to them, because of our different dimensions of knowledge.
I’m yet working on that part of knowing how not to get over exciting when I learn something new and I’m trying to share it with someone who can’t comprehend me.
People, there is so much to learn about the Word. Don’t limit yourself! Dig in! Study! You will be surprise what The Holy Spirit will reveal to you!

Dear Barbara- I so much appreciated your post today, as I have discovered a wealth of valuable information in the treasures of wisdom you constantly share. I too am very thankful and eager to study, ponder, and learn from the higher authority of the rehma Word. However, in sharing the rehma Word, one of the first obstacles we often run into is the church system ‘wall’ against it, where many Christians believe the written Logos is the ’final Word’ of God that all other Words must conform to & measure up to. However, Jesus says this attitude developed where His children fall short of His holy Spirit revealed Truth, and don’t hear Him anymore, therefore they must fall back on the Logos as their ’catch-all’ safety net. When in fact, He reveals by His rehma revelation Word where men have changed or added many verses, chapters, and even rewritten entire books of the bible to suit their own beliefs, or for control of the church. One case in point is the verse so many mis-led men point to today that is supposedly attributed to Paul’s writings, that says “women are to be quiet and not be heard in the church” in so many words. If not for the rehma Word of God revealing to us that this verse was added by self-serving deceitful men, and was not inspired by God, we might all believe it. But it is far from true, as you are a living testimony to. rick
