The High Call is the Great Commission
God has a perfect Will and Plan for each and every life.
The key to discovering your God-given Purpose is to first know that you have one, and second seek his face and allow him to lead you by His Spirit to it.
This does require our will and participation, therefore we have to work with The Holy Spirit and apply The Word (Jesus) of God to our daily lives, and submit ourselves to God and His perfect Plan for us if we are to ever reach our God-given Destiny.
We were created by God to show forth His Praises in this earth, not our own, and to do His Will in this earth, not our own.
However, we must surrender our will, to His Will, in order for this work to be done and accomplished in us and through us.
Jesus was willing to lay His Own Life down so that we might find out who we really are, and were created to be, and to become who we really are in Him, and allow Him to be in us.
Christ in you the hope of Glory. This is true Redemption and Salvation!
The real question is, are we willing to lay down our will and life on this earth, so that He can live His Will through us in order that God’s Will might be done through us?
If so, then we must rise to the occasion and press unto that higher calling. We must be willing to lay it all down for that higher calling and for His will to be done.
We must crucify our flesh nature daily with all it’s own rebellious, sinful, and selfish desires in order for him to live his righteousness and being in and through us so that the will of God can be done in and through us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.
“Saying, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”“ Luke 22:42
“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” 1 John 3:16
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:1-4
There is a GOOD WILL, (which will bring forth 30 fold fruit in our lives) and a ACCEPTABLE WILL, (which will bring forth 60 fold fruit) and then there is the PERFECT WILL OF GOD for our lives. (which will bring froth 100 fold fruit in our lives.)
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, will of God.” Romans 12:2
There is a high calling in Christ Jesus our Lord. Each of us decide WITH OUR OWN WILL which of the three we will reach and submit to in order to obtain it.
THIS DOES DEPEND UPON US. We decide if we are willing to press toward that mark of the higher calling in Christ Jesus or not.
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
God has the plan and he gave us the will and all the tools to obtain to it but, the choice is ultimately ours. Many are called but few choose to accept that call.
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14
Truth is we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, whom God himself has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light to show forth His praises in the is earth.
We are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus our Lord. The bible plainly defines who we are and who our true identity is, we choose with our will to accept that identity or not and to walk it out in our daily lives.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” 1 Peter 2:9
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (30, 60, or 100 fold fruit) John 15:16
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 149:14-16
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.” Jeremiah 29:11-14
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
