This morning I had a dream that office furniture and drawers were being cleaned and things moved around, as though spring cleaning was taking place.

I even saw this person trying to move their furniture and I made room for them to get by, but as I did, this person intentionally tried to push over my drawers as I was placing stuff into my own.

As I prayed this morning, I heard the word “Groves!”

The Webster’s dictionary states that a Grove is something resembling a wood or trees in a wood.

“And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land,” Genesis 12:6.

Joshua 20:7 describes Shechem as being “in the hill country of Ephraim,” roughly in the center of the land.

In Shechem, Abram goes to a tree called the oak of Moreh. The Hebrew term moreh, מוֹרֶה, (môreh mo-reh’) means “teacher.”

It’s possible this tree was in an oak grove used by the Canaanites in their religious cults. It was a common practice of these cults to use nature, including trees, to seek messages from their gods.

I believe that although this land belonged to the enemy God was going to allow Abram to possess the land. Perhaps this is why Abram came to this place hoping to hear from The LORD.

You see the, Canaanites were in the land. The scripture states that a good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. (Proverbs 13:22)

In this present world, through which we are traveling, I believe like Abraham, God will allow the saints opportunity to possess what the wicked once had, because of their disobedience in building up the “groves,” so one day, the possession of wicked shall one day belong to the saints.

Meanwhile, our position in it, as pilgrims, is one of lack and peril as it was with Abraham, until The LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!” (Genesis 15:5)

People of God, I believe that in this season The LORD shall deal with your enemies as He begins to shift some things as in my dream; especially the religious sect among us who are continuing to build up the ungodly groves that resemble the Church, and that these groves, shall be torn down and land restored back to God who shall distribute it back to the righteous!

For, It was Yahweh who said to Amos, “Go, prophesy to my people Israel” (7:15).

Amos frequently introduces his prophecy by saying, “Thus says Yahweh” (1:3, 6, 9, 11, 13, 2:1).

You see, God said to Amos, yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, (pride, arrogance) and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. (Amos 2:9)

Amos could see that beneath Israel’s external prosperity and power, internally the nation was corrupt to the core.

And, that their sins for which Amos chastens the people are extensive: they (the Nations/ God’s people) neglected God’s Word, served idolatry, pagan worship, greed, corrupted leadership and used the oppression of the poor.

However; Amos begins his prophetic words by pronouncing a judgment upon all the surrounding nations, then upon his own nation of Judah, and finally the harshest judgment is given to Israel.

His visions from God reveal the same emphatic message: judgment is near. The book ends with God’s promise to Amos of future restoration of the remnant.

For, I heard God saying to those who are faithful though, “You pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze,” (Isaiah 43.2)

For, “I The LORD thy God shall will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.” (Amos 9:14)
