The Greater the Calling the More Is Expected
“But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more,” Luke 12:48.
When God has called you up higher in Him there are many things that you can expect.
You can expect to have a greater responsibility in what He has called you to do.
For you will be tested to prove your worthiness for the things of His Kingdom, and there will also come times when the enemy will come to attempt to thwart you from what God has called you to do.
For when we speak of the very things of God then the time comes for us to go through those very things that we then speak of.
It is not just a spiritual or philosophical argument that one would propose, but rather it is the very working in and through ourselves in showing forth the work of God in us.
For we are the very containers that would exhibit those things of God unto the world around us. Of what good would it be for one to just speak of those things that are true without first experiencing it in themselves?
“Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh,” 2 Corinthians 4:9-11.
Were not the very disciples of Christ tested in many ways?
Did not the prophets of old go through severe trials and persecutions in their lives?
No, all of these and more were called upon to exhibit the very things that they spoke and demonstrated, and so we also must do so.

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Amazing.
