The Gift of Free Will
I am grateful for Jesus Christ and the gift of Free Will.
The gift of Free Will has made it possible for us to live victoriously. Because of what Jesus Christ has done, we do not have to subject ourselves to any force, power, or spirit seeking to hold us in captivity or bondage to any man, institution, entity, or government body.
Despite the spike or increase in numbers regarding the Covid-19 virus, and the many unexplained death cases said to be caused by Covid-19, not to mention the crime and the violence we are having to deal with in our land which seems to have taken back burner, while our ever caring and considerate leaders in government seek to fight against a disease that if contracted, are not liable or held accountable in any way.
And did I mention in the same breath is fighting to make mandatory?
If it were not for God’s Protection and Mercy, the “love thy neighbour as thyself” commandment, wisdom to implement and apply the different sanitation and safety measures taught growing up by our mothers and grannies, some of us would not be here today.
My condolences to those who have lost loved ones as a result of this Covid-19 virus, and that those who have caught the virus have recovered, or are in the process of recovering…
Because of what Jesus Christ has done over two thousand years ago on Calvary’s Cross, we this day are given the RIGHT and Free Will to choose and make decisions regarding our now and hereafter.
Though given such freedom, His unconditional love has led and granted us the RIGHT to live and operate within parameters governed by His Grace, Wisdom, and Understanding.
Because of the power of The Holy Spirit, Covid-19 or any other disease has NO power over us.
In Deuteronomy 30:15-20, the word of the Lord serves as a constant reminder:
“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and His judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
It is clear that our sin and wickedness have led to the crises we are facing today.
Even so, God is a loving and compassionate God. His mercy prevails, and for this reason, we can experience His grace which gives us life even after death.
