There’s a gateway ahead of us all as we pass into another new year.

It’s probably a gate we’ve all passed through many times — in my case over 80 times.

Yet, with every passing year, our choice becomes ever more important.

To put it as simply as possible, which way we turn as we enter the next season, is crucial.

The devil loves to play Treasure Hunt with our souls. In one direction lies treasure the world provides for us in the NOW

. In the other direction lies treasures in heaven stored up for us to receive sooner or later.

I must confess that, in past years, my choice has been tied to my worldly dreams and aspirations, with the more Godly hopes and dreams coming in a poor second place.

This particular new year I am once again hearing clearly a call to prayer, to personal holiness, and to revival.

We have a Facebook Group which The LORD has me start in 2019 called Ten Minutes Prayer Initiative.

This calls us for ten minutes each day — five minutes for personal holiness, and five minutes for revival. Please see that above link for more details.

My recent post (yesterday) also reflects this feeling of urgency for this coming season.

So what message am I trying to convey to you all today?

We’ve all entered the Gate of 2025.

Which way will you turn now?

Towards your hopes and dreams of worldly success and all the trappings associated with them?

Or will you turn towards the Lord and His purposes for you in the coming year?

The choice is as simple as it is complex!

God’s Will for you?

Or Satan’s will for you?

That’s the bottom line!

God’s way or not!

The choice, as always, is yours and yours alone!
