“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come,” Joel 2:31.

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation,” 2 Peter 3:3-4.

“The sun will turn dark on that day.

I tell you there will be signs in the heavens and the earth below on that day. Those who doubt these things will see plainly that you are living in the last days.

For many have doubted that these days are now upon them. But in time many more will come to know the truth.

For men’s hearts will fail them, as the events of these last days unfold before them.

I tell you that civil war will break out in our nation.

For people will march and declare the injustices that are now coming to a peak around them. And while their voices will be heard, those in power will attempt to quell the sound.

And while these things are happening, more and more fires will burn around you.

And the winds will blow and the floods will come. But I ask you to persevere through this all.

I ask you to stand firm in the midst of all these things.

For the floodgate has been opened.”
