The Fingerprints of God
On March 24, 2024, I saw in a Vision a Door.
It was an inside Door, like one you would find on a bedroom or closet in modern homes. The Door was white and had many dirty fingerprints along the knob edge.
As I looked, a hand holding a white cloth began wiping off the fingerprints.
End of Vision.
A Door is a point of entry. Fingerprints are often left behind by those who go in and out of the door.
Long after the Door is no longer used by any particular individual, their fingerprints remain until they are cleaned off.
Fingerprints are used by law enforcement to identify who committed a crime. They are so unique that perpetrators can be identified with a great degree of certainty.
Sometimes, there are partial prints that can also be used, depending, of course, on how partial the print is.
The Divinity Code metaphor dictionary has the following metaphorical definition. For “Fingerprints” they have:
“Identity (source of evidence); Ownership; Recognition; DNA; Wrong motive; Being exposed (fingerprints found); Signs and wonders (marks of Holy Spirit); God’s handiwork.”
For “Door” they have:
“Christ; Opportunity; Mouth; Entrance; Faith; Heart; The unstoppable work of God,” and more.”
As I pondered this, it occurred to me that we are living in a time when the enemy is working overtime to steal the identity of the younger generation.
Of course, he’s been doing this since he fell from heaven, but now he has the cooperation of very wicked men and women helping him to further this insidious agenda.
When people don’t know who they are as God’s Children, when they lose their God-given identity given to them at their creation, (even their very gender), they lose their foundation, the fabric of who they are.
The enemy can then begin the work of molding them to an image that is as far from their God-given one as he can. We can just look around to see what that looks like in this time. It is tragic indeed!
BUT GOD!
We have a King Who, in fact, is in the business of erasing the fingerprints of darkness off of His Beloved!
After all, He hung on the Cross to do just that (among many other things)!
He brings us a new life by the incredible power of His Blood!
He delights in bringing us freedom from the enemy’s snares, including his fingerprints left behind long after he’s been kicked out of our lives.
What do his — the enemy’s — fingerprints look like?
Shame, unworthiness, guilt, pain and sorrow about the past, unforgiveness, bitterness, and the list goes on.
Our King begins to gently wipe away the fingerprints and stains left behind by the enemy.
He brings restoration to our identity, the identity He has given us, and reminds us we were made for so much more.
Confusion begins to leave as we press in to that which He delights to give us, and where once the enemy had left his dirty fingerprints, Jesus’ Glorious Fingerprints begin to appear. Hallelujah!
What do the Fingerprints of God look like?
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.
Our Beautiful King Jesus and His Holy Spirit would say, “Do you believe? Do you dare to believe the good news? You are free! Come to Us and partake of Our Goodness and Love freely, completely unhindered by the past! Come, and We will give you Living Water and you will never thirst again!” (John 4:13-14)
Our King replaces the lies of the enemy with the beauty of His Truth. We are the Blood bought, redeemed, delivered children of the Most High God, created in His Image! It doesn’t get better than that.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10 (continued)
There is no condemnation by Him Who chose to die to free us, and we can believe the One Who never lies when He tells us we are new.
Shame, condemnation, fear, bitterness have no place in us; His sacrifice is so complete, the enemy must leave whenever we tell him to.
We are made for Jesus, and in Him is our identity.
Look inward and rejoice as you see the Fingerprints of the King of Glory in you! Choose to let go of all that would hinder! He needs us free in this hour, and He is so worth it!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Emphasis mine)
Declare : Thank you, our Jesus, that “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to The Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
May you have complete freedom in Jesus this day!
