The Fear of The LORD is Returning to My Church!
“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.” Proverbs 9:9-12.
The Holy Spirit has spoken to me this morning and has instructed me to write this article, and it is my prayer, that we all take serious heed to the Words that are about to come forth.
For they are not my Words but, they are His. He spoke very plainly to me this morning and He said: “The Fear of The LORD is returning to My Church in this hour!”
He gave me specific scriptures and the understanding of what He is expressing. I am writing in obedience to that Word.
This is a Holy week to honor our King for all he did for us, however, many because of a lack of knowledge are not honoring Him and many are perishing for that lack of that knowledge.
Can one perish for what they do not know? Absolutely yes they can!
God’s Word declares in Hosea “that My People are destroyed for a lack of knowledge!” He goes on to say that they have also rejected the word of The LORD! (Hosea 4:6.)
Many are asleep to God’s ways and He is bringing forth an awakening in this hour.
He is causing His People to “awaken to righteousness,” which simply put, is His way of doing things!
We the Church, have done things our way for far to long and in times past, God has winked at all of our ignorance. But He is now calling all men everywhere to REPENT!
The knowledge of The LORD is now filling the earth as the waters cover the sea. No longer will people be able to claim ignorance anymore.
It is coming down to this in this hour…… REPENT or PERISH!
“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish,” Luke 13:3.
I know this may sound harsh and believe me, I did not want to write this article, but I will in no wise wind up in the belly of hell as Jonah did, because he failed to bring the Word of The LORD!
God spoke to Jonah to arise and go unto the people of Niveveh, that great city, and cry against it for their wickedness has come up before The LORD, and God was gonna destroy that city and cut them off if they failed to repent.
In short, Jonah ran from the presence of The LORD and went in another direction and he wound up in the belly of hell!
Jonah did repent and was spat out of the great fish’s belly to stand once again before The LORD to hear His words as they were delivered to him a second time, ‘to arise and go to Nineveh — that great city, and preach to it the message that I tell you!’
Listen carefully how Jonah explains his experience and the consequences of not honoring God and running from his call.
“Then Jonah prayed unto The LORD his God out of the fish’s belly, and said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto The LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. T he waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.” Jonah 2:1-6.
The Word that Jonah was to deliver was that in forty days, that city would be overthrown if they failed to repent of their wickedness!
The entire city begin to fast and repent, and turn from their evil way and God relented from his fierce anger and from the disaster which He had said He would bring upon them. So they were spared and did not perish.
Having said all that to help us understand our refusal to deliver and obey the Word when we are called to do so, and people’s refusals hear the word of The LORD and obey it in this hour, are serious charges against us before The LORD!
Now I will attempt to deliver the Word He gave me this morning concerning “The Fear of The LORD is returning to My Church in this hour!”
First and foremost let me explain that when God calls and chooses a vessel to carry His Word, it is not that they chose themselves to do it, and in most cases like Jonah, those who are really called and chosen by God have at some point tried to run from that call.
However, it is of God’s choosing and that from before they were even placed in the womb. We see this also clearly with the prophet Jeremiah and many others.
So whether you like the message, or the messenger who is carrying the message, it still does not give you any right to alter, come against, scorn, disregard, mock, the message or the one who is carrying and delivering it in any way, even if you have the best intentions.
I will attempt to show you from the scriptures as Holy Spirit has delivered them to me, how that one can anger The LORD, for this type of behavior and such acts as these, can be fatal! Yes, I said fatal!
In the Old Testament, the Word of The LORD was carried in a ark of specific design constructed by Moses himself and at that time was called the “Ark of the Covenant.”
Today, we are the temple where Christ dwells and He has written His Word/ laws within our hearts, so in essence, we are now the ark/ temple, the dwelling place of God, and when God calls or chooses you to be a carrier of the Word and a deliverer of the Word, we now become a, ark or dwelling place of God.
God has spoken, “Touch not mine anointed and and do my prophets no harm,” for He rebuked kings for their sake.
God is still speaking that in this hour!
The story of Uzzah is one such man who learned this lesson the hard way and is an example to us all. Again let us all take heed to what the Spirit of The LORD is saying to the church in this hour!
“Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of The LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.
And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.
And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.
And David and all the house of Israel played before The LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.
And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.
And the anger of The LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.
And David was displeased, because The LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.
And David was afraid of The LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of The LORD come to me?
So David would not remove the ark of The LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.” 2 Samuel 6:1-10.
The meaning we all can derive from these portions of scripture is quite clear, even the oxen pulling the ark can be shaken by the Word of The LORD — but do not put your hand against the ark nor those those who are carrying and delivering it, lest ye anger The LORD your God and he smite you for this great error!
Many times, God may require from one of His chosen vessels to speak a Word that you may not want to hear!
Many times the messenger does not want to deliver it either, but failure to do either of these can have grave consequences.
Let us honor our God by honoring His Word, by loving one another and keeping His Commands, and by honoring His People who are called and chosen to deliver it.
Not only are we to honor God with the firstfruits of our increases and in all things, we are also to honor one another and the firstfruits of His Spirit, who are called in this hour to deliver the Word of The LORD!
“He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.” Matthew 10:40-42.
“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day,” John 12:48.
During this Passover season, let us all examine our hearts and motives before The LORD and be quick to repent whenever we need to.
Let us all press on to the mark of the high call in Christ Jesus our LORD!
